Hinata’s group obtained weapons from the Artisan Ninja Village and discovered that Akatsuki had begun investigating Dawn. While Hinata pursued a system mission in Hoshigakure, Naruto, Sakura, and Neji arrived there and encountered Ang and Akaboshi’s schemes.

• The Akatsuki members left the four ninja tools in Iwagakure and headed to Amegakure, while the Artisan Ninja Village’s elders discussed rebuilding their village.
• Wu Zhu asked the Artisan Ninja Village elders for high-quality weapons, and Hinata’s group selected eighteen tools before Elder Ku offered them the Kusanagi Sword Ziyuan.
• Hinata tested Ziyuan’s purple lion attacks, then decided her group would return to its base and leave the Four Heavenly Phenomena to Akatsuki.
• The major villages searched for Dawn and suspected Konoha, while Kakashi sent Naruto, Sakura, and Neji on a mission to Hoshigakure.
• Pain and Konan learned that Dawn had made an agreement with the Artisan Ninja Village and decided they needed to meet the person behind it.
• Hinata’s system assigned her a mission to obtain an item in Hoshigakure, so she headed there with her group as Naruto’s team arrived at Death Valley.
• Ang led Naruto, Sakura, and Neji through Death Valley toward Hoshigakure, while Hinata’s group waited for the toxic mist to clear.
• Ang warned Hoshigakure’s youths against overusing the meteorite, while Akaboshi and his subordinates discussed claiming it and invited Naruto’s team into the village.

Hinata’s group infiltrated Hoshigakure and took its meteorite while Naruto recognized Hinata but could not stop her. Hinata returned to Konoha, and more than three years later she visited Ranmaru and offered condolences to Aunt Yamada.

• Shizang brought Naruto, Hinata, and Neji into Hoshigakure, where Akaboshi introduced himself as Acting Star Shadow and the visitors sensed the villagers’ hostility.
• Yeying told Hoshigakure’s children that Konoha had sent the visitors to help protect the village’s treasured artifact from a mysterious thief.
• Naruto, Sakura, and Neji questioned Akaboshi’s account and discussed leaving, while Naruto said the village felt strangely familiar and chose to seek information from Ang.
• Natsuhi tried to reach Hoshigakure through an illusion of the village burning, but Hinata, Winter Rain, and Kurama Mutsu subdued her and tied her to a tree.
• After a rockfall drew Akaboshi and his ninja outside the village, Neji exposed four black-robed intruders, who revealed that they had come for the meteorite.
• Winter Rain’s Water Dragon Bullet Technique incapacitated most of the Hoshigakure ninja, while Naruto recognized Hinata as she and her companions fought off resistance.
• Kurama Mutsu retrieved the meteorite, Hinata took it and returned to Konoha, and more than three years passed.
• Hinata visited Ranmaru in Konoha, then went to offer condolences to Aunt Yamada after her husband Kosuke died.

Hinata and Konoha’s rookies gathered as rumors about Shinnō and signs of coming upheaval surfaced. The Sky Ninja attacked Konoha, leaving the village devastated, while Jiraiya returned with Naruto and Tsunade mobilized the village to respond.

• Hinata visited Aunt Yamada, reflected on the past, and decided not to return to the Hyuga Clan.
• Hinata joined Tenten and Konoha’s young elites, where they discussed Shinnō and Neji shared suspicions about the celebrated physician.
• Hinata sensed trouble, while the Great Toad Sage warned Fukasaku and Shima of a great change from Konoha and sent Jiraiya back.
• Jiraiya reunited with Naruto and brought him back toward Konoha as the Sky Ninja prepared their attack and Shinnō arrived in the village.
• The Sky Ninja struck Konoha, overwhelmed its defenses, and left widespread destruction before retreating.
• Tsunade ordered Konoha’s clans to mobilize, while Hinata rescued an injured girl and Naruto rushed to help survivors.
• Tsunade demanded Root’s support from Danzo, and Jiraiya returned to the Hokage’s Office to learn that the Sky Ninja had attacked.
• Jiraiya remained in Konoha as Tsunade faced the losses and reassured the public, finding some relief after meeting Shinnō at the hospital.

Hinata, Naruto, and Sakura investigated Shinnō’s village and uncovered his plot involving Sky City and Yuliu. After Sasuke joined the fight against Shinnō, he escaped with Yuliu and began operating a machine while the others pursued them.

• Tsunade sent Hinata, Naruto, and Sakura with Shinnō and Yuliu to investigate the attack on their village.
• Hinata found the hidden entrance to Sky City and reached its throne hall, while Shinnō knocked Sakura unconscious and Sky Ninjas carried her away.
• Sakura revealed she had feigned unconsciousness, defeated the guards, and began investigating Shinnō’s connection to the Sky Ninjas.
• Naruto followed Yuliu into the ruins, where she found Shinnō apparently dead, then chased her into a room where Shinnō revealed he had deceived her about her parents and planted a monster inside her.
• Shinnō transformed and overpowered Naruto, but Sakura intervened, and Sasuke arrived seeking an item for Orochimaru.
• Sasuke fought Shinnō until Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke worked together to pressure him, but Shinnō collapsed the floor and escaped with Yuliu.
• Hinata left her hiding place and tracked the others as Shinnō put Yuliu into a container of green liquid and began operating a machine.
