Peranos, Varo, the black cat, Green, and a female wizard sat around a long wooden table. Before each of them was a pristine white plate, piled with a sumptuous meal: naturally, the precious ingredient known as Planer Fish, which Peranos kept in the laboratory aquarium.
"Green, this is your mistress, Alice. She's a renowned gourmet at Black Isotta Wizard Academy. These Planer Fish are premium ingredients your mistress has carefully raised for twenty-five years. She specially caught a few for you this time."
Peranos gave an embarrassed smile. The ugly stitches across his face made that smile seem savage and terrifying.
Wizard Alice smiled at Green as well. There was an indescribable charm in her smile, gentle and kind. She seemed to be someone who rarely spoke.
This Mistress Alice had short golden wavy hair, a pair of blue amber eyes, skin as fair as cream, and a petite figure. She was a rare beauty.
