Provoking the Monks' Wrath

When Luo Yunji went out today, he noticed monks constantly appearing nearby. He was only a little curious, then went right on doing as he pleased, searching for the little stone beasts he liked!

"Sure enough, it's you!" Just as Luo Yunji found a stone beast he liked the look of and was working hard to pry it loose, an angry shout rang out nearby. Before long, a crowd of monks had surrounded the three of them.

"..." Luo Yunji showed no sign of letting go. He watched the monks approaching while continuing to put his back into prying at the stone beast in his hands.

"Are you going to stop or not?" One monk saw that Luo Yunji had no sense of having been caught red-handed. He was still clutching the stone beast and refusing to let go, so the monk angrily bellowed at him.

"You tell me to stop, and I'm supposed to stop?" Luo Yunji glared at the monk who had shouted.

"Outrageous! You did something wrong, and you still have the nerve to argue!" The monks all voiced their condemnation at once.

"This yours?" Seeing that he had already pried a hairline crack into the base of the stone beast in his hands, Luo Yunji put even more strength into it.

"This is Tianyin Temple!"

"Did you build this temple? Did you put in the labor? Or pay for it?" Luo Yunji fired off a string of questions, leaving all the monks who had gathered around him stunned.

"You're twisting words to suit yourself! This is Tianyin Temple. You can't just do as you please!"

"I can! I can! I'll do as I please!" As everyone watched, Luo Yunji pried the stone beast off the stone railing, then turned to go pry off another one.

"Stop!"
