"Nagini—" After listening to Silvan's account, Dumbledore said softly, "Then did you see which floor of the Ministry of Magic that snake appeared on?"

"I don't know." Silvan shook his head. "I only saw it happen after Professor Dorothy, the invigilator, stepped out of the lift."

Professor Dorothy was the hunchbacked witch from the Divination exam.

"Is that so?" Dumbledore nodded. "Then can you be certain that what you saw was the Ministry of Magic?"

"I think so." Silvan said, "Those magical paper aeroplanes—I've only ever seen that method of communication at the Ministry of Magic."

"Indeed." Dumbledore said thoughtfully. "Where is that crystal ball? I mean, the one in which you saw the prophecy."

"I don't know." Silvan shook his head. "It was used during the exam. Now, it should be in the Divination classroom."

"We'll know if we go and take a look." Dumbledore said. "Come, take hold of my arm."

Silvan quickly reached out.

After a dizzying whirl, the two of them went from the headmaster's office to the Divination classroom in the North Tower.

It was not Silvan's first time Apparating within Hogwarts, but it still felt incredible. He secretly tried it himself, yet the space before him showed no reaction at all, and he remained where he was.

This showed that the castle's restriction against Apparition was still in place and had not been lifted, yet Dumbledore had been able to bring him here from the headmaster's office.

Was that the headmaster's privilege?

Or had his magic surpassed the restriction's limit?

"Ah, found it."

At that moment, Dumbledore found the one he wanted among a pile of crystal balls.
