Nature and Cultivation

• Mystic Qi is the starting point of the Foundation Establishment Path. A cultivator first breathes and exhales Mystic Qi before progressing through Pulse Opening, Dao Embryo, Spirit Sea, and Immortal Apertures. 1
• Breathing methods draw Mystic Qi into the body and settle it in the lower dantian. Abundant qi may manifest as a clear aura that stirs a cultivator's robes without wind. 2
• Qi Exhalation and Pulse Opening remove acquired turbidity from the Dao body. Mystic Qi is used to scour impure meridians and temper the Eight Extraordinary Meridians. 2 5
• Mystic Qi is affected by a cultivator's innate spirit veins and cultivation method. A mismatched meridian-opening method can alter a cultivator's pulse pattern while diminishing its power. 4
• At the Spirit Sea realm, Mystic Qi changes from individual threads and streams into an entire responsive reservoir, allowing sustained and forceful use in battle. 120 121

• Mystic Qi Pills from Li Garden Grotto-Heaven possess medicinal power vast enough that a single pill would equal a century of cultivation for the Taisui. 71
• Earth Spirit Spring Water can be refined into Earth Spirit Spring Pills, which enhance vitality and Mystic Qi. 96

Limitations
