As the Demon Gods’ plans and contingencies unfolded there, Hongjun and the Three Clans confronted Shen Ni’s Ferocious Beast Clan, with Taotie watching for a chance to act.
Shichen and his allies prepared the Primordial World for outside threats while Hongjun manipulated the Three Clans, Luo Hou, and the coming sermon. The first lecture ended with systems disrupting Purple Heaven Palace and Lu Renjia fleeing with its gate and Zhun Ti’s treasure.
Shichen united with the Primordial World's Heavenly Dao as the Demon Clans and Three Clans fought through mounting calamities. After Shichen nearly restarted Chaos and regained his awareness, the arc ended with the Witch Clan interrupting Taiyi and Xihe’s wedding.
The Chaos Demon Gods defeated the God of Systems’ avatar, then Shichen’s plans unfolded amid the Human Race’s creation and the war between Di Jun, Taiyi, and the Witch Clan. The arc ended with Houtu establishing reincarnation, completing the Earthly Dao, and enabling the Reincarnation Demon God to advance.
Shichen connected five universes to the Primordial World and began refining the top Demon Gods’ Dao Marks to prepare for the God of Systems. While he cultivated, the Demon Gods confronted system forces in other worlds, and the Investiture of the Gods Calamity spread across the connected realms, leaving Lord Tongtian’s disciples gathered on Golden Ao Island.
Shichen confronted the God of Systems while the Chaos Dao Court prepared to merge worlds and accelerate the Investiture of the Gods Calamity. The arc ended with Hong Yun overcome by Calamity Qi as several powers converged on his battle with Zhun Ti.
The Investiture of the Gods Calamity spread across worlds as the Demon Gods and Primordial World powers fought over Chaos Origin, devastating the Cosmic Universe before the Space Dao Venerable imposed order. Shichen and the Demon Gods then investigated a suspected contingency of the God of Systems, and Shichen resurrected Li Wan'er before the Karma Demon God erased Shui Daozi.
Shichen’s plan to guide the World Demon God and gather power through the Primordial World’s escalating wars collided with the God of Systems’ possession and the Human Race’s struggle against the Heavenly Dao. The Human Race faced a growing siege as Shichen neared Chaos Realm, Seventh Heaven, while a red-eyed being prepared to emerge and devour all worlds.
After establishing the Chaos Academy, Shichen entered seclusion to refine countless Dao bodies and faced a hidden future adversary. His scattered consciousnesses began appearing as emotions across the worlds, and Tragic Shichen met Su Yun and the newly awakened Longing Shichen.
Tragic Shichen gathered several of Shichen’s scattered emotions while the systems hunted them and secretly worked to free their god. As Shichen awakened in the Time Temple, Blood Eye escaped his chains and began his final showdown with him.
Shichen defeated the God of Systems, restored the fallen Demon Gods’ names to the River of Time, and launched the Journey to the West Calamity with Sun Wukong as its protagonist. As Sun Wukong rebelled against the Heavenly Court, Shichen and the Chaos Dao Court arrived to confront the Star Demon God.
Sun Wukong’s Journey to the West became a battleground for rival worlds and powers, while Shichen pursued a hidden timeline that challenged his understanding of the Great Dao. The arc ended with the Invincible System exposing Shichen’s connection to the ruined Blue Planet and an identical azure-robed figure declaring that they were both Shichen.
