Background / History

Himeko was Kiana's teacher at St. Freya Academy and remained a source of emotional support after Su Jue's apparent death. She brought Kiana food, tried to prevent her from harming herself, and mourned the boy Kiana believed she had lost. 2

Following her battle against the Herrscher of Void, Himeko was left in Imaginary Space. She endured its darkness and isolation for three months without breaking, even while suffering from severe Honkai erosion. 19 20 Su Jue eventually located her body while searching for the Plague Gem. Her God-Slaying Armor had been destroyed, and Imaginary monsters had surrounded her remains. 19

Though near death, Himeko immediately reacted when Su Jue claimed that Kiana was being hunted and threatened to use Himeko's body against her. She recognized his deliberate emotional provocation, suppressed her despair, and chose to become his puppet so that she could remain able to protect her students. 19

Himeko negotiated for limited freedom before linking her soul to the Theater of Domination. Her will was strong enough that Su Jue could not simply force her into a puppet state without risking failure; her cooperation was necessary. 19 She subsequently lived in Su Jue's home with him, Griseo, and Tread Snow, while quietly investigating his past and searching for a way to loosen the control of his threads. 19 20

Appearance

Himeko has fiery red hair and orange-red eyes. In combat, she often conceals her identity with a white half-mask and alternative puppet appearances. 23 24

Personality

Himeko is resilient, protective, and difficult to intimidate. Even while dying in Imaginary Space, she resisted Su Jue's manipulation and evaluated his intentions instead of surrendering to despair. 19 20 Her primary concern is consistently the safety of Kiana and her other students.

She believes that Herrschers should not be condemned solely for what Honkai has made them. Having taught Kiana and Mei, she sees them as young people who deserve guidance, care, and an ordinary life rather than fear. 19

Although bound to Su Jue, Himeko remains observant and pragmatic. She recognizes his immaturity beneath his cruelty, attempts to understand his past, and hopes he could become an ally to Kiana and the others. 19 20 She is also openly teasing and sharp-tongued when circumstances permit, particularly toward Su Jue and Rita. 21 25 45

Himeko is an experienced Valkyrie whose preferred weapon is a greatsword, though she can effectively wield other blades.
