Background / History

Rita serves Schicksal as its chief combat maid and an S-rank Valkyrie. She receives orders directly from Bishop Otto, who sends her to Sky City after evidence confirms the Herrscher of Void's presence there. 13 14

Upon arriving in Sky City, Rita eliminates Gray Serpent's guards and negotiates with Gray Serpent for information on Kiana. She later kills him and takes his cybernetic ocular implant, intending to recover intelligence stored in its chip structures. 21 22

Her pursuit of Theresa's group brings her into conflict with Raiden Mei. Rita easily defeats Mei in direct combat, but Murata Himeko's puppet ambushes her and inflicts a shoulder wound; the ensuing battle leaves Rita further exhausted, though she ultimately overwhelms Himeko. 22 23 24

After her initial failure in Sky City, Otto assigns Rita to investigate World Serpent's hidden operations. World Serpent traps Rita in the laboratory with Death Weavers and HSN gas, which drains her Honkai Energy through skin contact. Rita activates the automated airship Eos to destroy Shencheng Pharmaceuticals and its experimental drugs. Despite continuing to regard Kiana as a dangerous Herrscher, she recognizes Kiana's growth and later calls her a hero after Kiana saves Sky City from the Honkai Bomb. 38 45
