Yuan stared at that faint source of chakra in the darkness, killing intent churning in his eyes as if it had taken form. That man who had slaughtered the entire Uchiha clan without even sparing his own parents—Itachi Uchiha—was now slowly approaching the border of the Hidden Leaf Village. He was probably watching and calculating even more.

Just as Yuan was about to change direction and charge over to wring Itachi's head off, a sharp pain, keener than a stabbing blade, suddenly exploded deep in his brain.

This was not an injury to his body. It was the chakra warning Mihui had left on the barrier around the Uchiha Clan Compound in the Hidden Leaf! Someone was forcefully attacking the Uchiha Clan Compound!

"Who dares touch my home?!" Yuan's eyes nearly split with rage. He spun around, abandoning the thought of chasing Itachi.
