With a method to cleanse the Sunwell found, the Kingdom of Quel'Thalas had also united the Highborne of Eldre'Thalas and the Nightborne of Suramar. Prince Kael'thas's prestige had reached unprecedented heights, and under the fervent urging of his advisors and generals, he decided to be crowned Sun King of Quel'Thalas.

Naturally, Prince Kael'thas invited the Horde's allies to attend his coronation as Sun King. Neutral factions such as the Argent Dawn, the Cenarion Circle, and the Earthen Ring also received invitations. An invitation was even extended to the Alliance.

The Alliance's principal leaders naturally would not personally travel to Silvermoon City for the ceremony, but given the millennia-long ties between Quel'Thalas and the Alliance, they still sent representatives to attend the coronation.

The number of Wretched was nowhere near as great as it had been in the original history, and the Blood Elves had effectively contained them on Sunstrider Isle. The Dead Scar, which ran across the Kingdom of Quel'Thalas, had also been cleansed by Kael'thas using the Naaru's Holy Light.

The Kingdom of Quel'Thalas had once again returned to being a land of eternal prosperity. Its wounds had been smoothed away, and Silvermoon City's western district had been rebuilt as well. Every Blood Elf in the City of the Sun wore pride and hope upon their face rather than the arrogance and isolation of the past.

Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, the Kingdom of Quel'Thalas had suffered decline and disaster, yet it had been reborn once more. And after its rebirth, it was stronger than ever.

Within Sunfury Spire, the Blood Elf royal court, Prince Kael'thas was being groomed in the chambers reserved for the Sun King. Though he did not personally enjoy it, these were necessary noble protocols and procedures.
