Beastmaster Rexxar was ultimately persuaded by everyone's combined efforts and agreed to head to Northrend for the Northern Expedition against the Scourge. With Rend having dealt with the Gronn and Ogres, the Orcs of Mok'Nathal Village no longer faced any threats.

Rend had Rexxar go ahead through the portal to take command at Blackrock Stronghold. Of everyone there, the most reliable was undoubtedly the Horde champion Rexxar. With Rexxar stationed at Blackrock Stronghold, the Trifarix Legion of the Blackrock Expeditionary Force would surely be fine until Rend brought the Ogres over.

However, Beastmaster Rexxar made a request that left Rend torn between laughter and tears. Great bear Misha was now caring for her four panda cubs and could no longer fight alongside Rexxar. As a replacement, Rend was to give giant panda Mount Tai to Rexxar to take Misha's place as his battle companion.

When there had only been Mount Tai, Rend would never have been willing to give him to Beastmaster Rexxar as a combat partner. But things were different now. Misha had given birth to four panda cubs, completely drawing Rend's attention away.

Whistling happily, Rend headed to the settlements of the Boulderfist Ogres and Bloodmaul Ogres in Blade's Edge Mountains. He gathered their elite forces and set out for the Dark Portal.
