Though Al'Akir the Windlord did not understand what "wind trash" meant, he felt deeply humiliated, as though the other three Elemental Lords had appeared beside him and mocked his strength.
This time, Al'Akir the Windlord was thoroughly enraged. Every wind elemental in Skywall could feel his fury and became frenzied.
All the wind attacked Al'Akir the Windlord's enemy, seeking to slice and crush Guardian Med'an. Thunderaan was shocked to discover that he had completely lost control over the wind. Though he was second only to Al'Akir the Windlord, he was not, in the end, the Wind Elemental Lord.
It could be said that Al'Akir the Windlord received a 200% boost in Skywall.
Beyond the surging elemental attacks, Al'Akir the Windlord also swung the enormous Windlord's Blade. This wind elemental artifact was exceptionally sharp, capable of easily cutting apart other artifacts within Skywall.
Thunderaan looked at Guardian Med'an, who had only the Drumstick Staff left. Though the Drumstick Staff was also an artifact, it had been broken before and was not particularly sturdy. It simply could not withstand the Windlord's Blade.
Thus, Thunderaan merged into Thunderfury once more, using his essence to free Thunderfury from Al'Akir the Windlord's influence before flying it back into Guardian Med'an's left hand.
As an artifact of the same element, coupled with Thunderaan's essence, Thunderfury was no weaker than the Windlord's Blade in Skywall. Guardian Med'an suffered no suppression from the wind elementals as he wielded Thunderfury.
Thunderfury collided with the Windlord's Blade once again. Intense black lightning burst outward, wantonly ravaging the structures of the Throne of the Four Winds and causing the elegant, magnificent throne to begin collapsing.
"Wind is the freest thing in existence, Al'Akir. As the Wind Elemental Lord, you were actually willing to submit to the Old Gods and abandon freedom."
