The trolls Tonatiuh saw by the shore were Rokhan, who had already plunged into the sea and was swimming frantically away from the coast, and the Hakkari trolls who had chased him to the shore and, unwilling to give up, jumped into the sea after him.
"1... 2... 3... 4... seven trolls. Looks like the six behind are chasing the one in front. But what kind of deep grudge could make them keep chasing him even after jumping into the sea? Aren't they afraid they'll swim too far out and get taken care of by sea monsters? Or run out of strength and drown halfway?"
Sitting atop Nergigante's neck, Tonatiuh counted the trolls in the sea and pondered this in confusion.
"There really are a lot of trolls in Stranglethorn Vale. Even on some random stretch of coast like this, there are trolls swimming." The team member on Chromie's back said.
From a distance, Tonatiuh glanced at him, at this young human mage... priest—Medivh.
That was right. Aside from Tonatiuh, Azshara, Shandris, and Lunara, the remaining member of Tonatiuh's party was the human mage... priest Medivh. Not some other Medivh—the Medivh.
The Last Guardian, son of Aegwynn, secret protector of Tirisfal, and one of Stormwind's three great powers: Medivh Magana.
Medivh had joined the party because, after his mother died, he found the true culprit behind her death—the Burning Legion. The young Guardian sought revenge and tracked down the Dreadlords who had been studying how to breach Uldir.
And so, he went to war with the Burning Legion.
There were five Dreadlords and tens of thousands of Burning Legion demons near Uldir. No matter how strong Medivh was, he was still an inexperienced rookie fighting alone. In the end, he was ambushed and injured by a Dreadlord, forcing him to
