Uchiha Yato's abrupt remark made Jiraiya's CPU burn out.
"Hanzo of the Salamander is just one man. Why do you think his death would trigger the Third Shinobi World War?"
Uchiha Yato had known Jiraiya would ask that. He immediately looked at him with the expression of someone pitying an idiot.
"Why do you think Hanzo of the Salamander knew Akatsuki's secrets?"
"Why do you think it was such a coincidence that he appeared before the other members?"
"Why, when he could clearly have escaped in the end, was he killed? And by whom?"
After Uchiha Yato raised those three questions, Jiraiya also sensed that something was off about this incident.
But at the same time, another possibility came to mind!

After glancing at Uchiha Yato beside him, Jiraiya suppressed that most absurd thought.
Jiraiya began answering Uchiha Yato's three consecutive questions.
"Based on the information I received and the attitudes of the other ninja villages..."
"This time, it is clear that a major ninja village was stirring things up behind the scenes."
"It wasn't just Kirigakure alone. They don't carry enough weight. At least one other major ninja village was involved."
"And that village found Hanzo of the Salamander and discussed something with him, prompting him to act."
Jiraiya paused there.
Because he could not understand why Hanzo of the Salamander had ultimately died.
Uchiha Yato added again.
"To be precise, there should be three factions."
"Konoha, as the host, counts as one faction. We should be the target of every ninja village."
"After all, Konoha's combat power is extremely formidable now. They would never be comfortable with us becoming the sole dominant power."
Only after hearing Uchiha Yato's assessment did Jiraiya
