At the Great Elder's home.
"Are you serious about this?"
Looking at the proposal Uchiha Yato had handed him, the Great Elder asked that question for no apparent reason.
"I've already made my preparations. I want to contribute to the Uchiha Clan and do my part."
Uchiha Yato was exceedingly sincere, yet his impassioned speech earned little understanding from the Great Elder.
After all, Uchiha Yato's conduct and character had already been recognized by most of the Uchiha Clan's upper ranks.
He was an exceptionally shameless and somewhat selfish Uchiha, a terrible man who loved stirring up everyone's emotions.
"But why did you suddenly want to educate the Uchiha Clan's younger generation?"
The Great Elder looked at the proposal Uchiha Yato had presented and asked the question in bafflement.
"To be honest, I feel that the Uchiha Clan's moral character and overall quality are far too low right now."
Upon hearing Uchiha Yato's words, the Great Elder's mouth twitched uncontrollably, as though tugged by some invisible force.
He secretly thought, Uchiha Yato really has no shame! In the entire Uchiha Clan, no one is more shameless than him, yet he has the nerve to criticize others?
The more the Great Elder thought about it, the angrier he became, his dissatisfaction surging like a tide.
"For the sake of my incomparably noble Uchiha Clan, so that we may live even more elegantly in Konoha, I firmly believe that only I can shoulder such an immensely glorious duty!" Uchiha Yato declared proudly.
He tilted his head up slightly, seemingly very pleased with his own words, then added, "After all, with strength and character as outstanding as mine, I can definitely move the hearts of every member of the Uchiha Clan!"
Yet the scene fell into an awkward silence.
