Hinata vs. Yugito Nii

"Are you ready, Hinata?" Naruto asked.

"Of course." She kissed him.

## Arena ##

Hayate asked,

"Hinata versus Yugito Nii. Are both contestants ready?" They both nodded.

Hayate shouted, "Begin!" then leaped back to give them room.

Yugito Nii rushed at her, leaped into the air, and came down with a diving kick. Hinata crossed her arms in an X above her head and blocked the kick. She swiftly grabbed Yugito's foot and slammed her to the ground.

Yugito Nii easily got back up, dusted off her clothes, and charged Hinata again.

Two-Tails chakra seeped into Yugito Nii's nails, extending them by several inches and turning them into needle-sharp weapons.

Hinata channeled chakra into her storage seal, and her daggers suddenly appeared. They were made of Lightning Style chakra metal, with seven-inch single-edged blades. Hinata swiftly rushed toward Yugito Nii.

The two exchanged several blows, but Hinata's chakra-enhanced blades soon sliced through Yugito Nii's nails like a hot knife through butter.

Yugito Nii drew a kunai and channeled Lightning chakra through it, but it was also suppressed by Hinata's Wind chakra, leaving her only able to evade the incoming swings.

Yugito Nii flipped backward, trying to kick Hinata in the chin, but Hinata jumped and somersaulted back, landing gracefully.

Yugito Nii leaped forward, attempting a right hook. Hinata nimbly sidestepped it, then gracefully and swiftly sealed all her chakra points, leaving her arm completely powerless.

Feeling her right arm become utterly useless, Yugito Nii leaped back and widened the distance between them.

Still wearing a faint smile, she said, "Don't think you've won just because of that."

"I know you can reopen your chakra points by channeling Two-Tails chakra, but it'll be very painful." As Hinata explained, she watched with her Byakugan as Yugito Nii's right arm filled with red chakra, forcibly reopening its chakra points.

Yugito Nii endured the pain and moved her arm to shake off the stiffness and ease it. She quickly abandoned taijutsu and decided to focus on ninjutsu.

"Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!"

Yugito Nii shouted and hurled a medium-sized fireball at Hinata. Hinata easily jumped aside to avoid it, then quickly formed hand seals and shouted,

"Water Style: Water Bullet." Hinata fired several small water bullets, but her opponent dodged them.

"Water Style: Exploding Water Shock Wave." Hinata spewed forth an enormous wave. There was so much water that Hinata was lifted into the air, surfing atop the wave as the torrent finally engulfed her opponent and soaked her from head to toe.

"I told her to conserve chakra, but she went and used an S-rank ninjutsu." Naruto Uzumaki shook his head. I guess I'll have to help replenish her chakra when she gets back, Naruto thought.

Hinata began using "Water Shuriken."

Water molecules gathered in the air, forming several shuriken that flew toward her opponent at tremendous speed. Yugito Nii blocked every one of them with her kunai.

I need to give her something she can't block. Hinata formed a series of hand seals and said,

"Thousand Flying Water Needles." Countless water needles shot toward her opponent.

"Fire Style: Flame Tornado!" Yugito Nii shouted. Flames around her began spinning, completely vaporizing the incoming water needles.

"Fire Style: Blue Fireball!" Yugito Nii shouted again, using Two-Tails chakra to launch an enormous fireball toward Hinata.

"Water Style: Water Wall!" Hinata shouted, wrapping herself in water to block the fireball. The blue fireball collided with the water wall, producing a cloud of steam that covered the center of the arena and blocked the audience's view.

I can't compete with a jinchuriki in ninjutsu, Hinata thought.

Hinata suddenly came up with a perfect plan. She raised her right hand in a half-tiger sign while holding her left hand upright.

"Hidden Mist Technique!" Hinata shouted. The entire arena was covered in mist, obstructing everyone's vision. With her Byakugan, Hinata could see quite clearly. Zabuza had taught her this technique.

Damn it, I can't sense her anywhere, Yugito Nii thought.

A barrage of shuriken thrown by Hinata nearly struck her. Concealed by the mist, they could neither be heard nor seen, even with Yugito Nii's sharp senses.

What can I do to disperse this mist? As Yugito Nii pondered, she suddenly felt intense pain in her shoulder and leg.

She looked down at her body and found four water needles embedded in it.

What's going on? Yugito Nii suddenly realized. The shuriken were just a decoy... I need to find her quickly.

Though her mind raced to devise a way to counter the mist, she felt her body growing weaker and her eyelids becoming heavy.

She pulled a needle from her shoulder, held it to her nose, and detected a faint metallic smell.

"It's poison," she concluded.

"Two-Tails, I've been poisoned," she told her partner.

"I know. It should be a very potent sleeping poison. You need to find a way out," the tailed beast replied, giving Yugito Nii some chakra to help flush the drug from her body.

I know, but what can I do? I can't use Wind Style, so I can't blow the mist away, Yugito Nii thought. Both of them tried their best to find a way to weaken Hinata's advantage.

Yugito Nii sensed movement behind her. She immediately extended her claws, dodged aside, then turned and slashed at Hinata's chest—only to see Hinata turn into a splash of water.

"A Water Clone?" Yugito Nii asked in surprise, turning just in time to see Hinata rushing toward her through the mist.

"Eight Trigrams: One Hundred Twenty-Eight Palms!" Hinata took her stance.

"Two Palms!"

"Four Palms!"

"Eight Palms!"

"Sixteen Palms!"

"Thirty-Two Palms!"

"Sixty-Four Palms!"

Finally, Hinata said,

"One Hundred Twenty-Eight Palms!"

Yugito Nii was blasted backward by the palm strikes, coughing as half of her chakra network was sealed. For an ordinary person, this would have been enough to knock them out, but it was not enough for a jinchuriki.

"Damn it," Yugito Nii said, struggling to breathe.

"I told you to be careful," the tailed beast said.

"Yeah, I need you to give me chakra if I'm going to win," Yugito Nii said.

"If it weren't for me, you would have already lost," the tailed beast replied flatly, but still gave her chakra. A red aura flared around Yugito Nii, and two tails swayed behind her.

Yugito Nii let out a roar, instantly blowing away the mist. Everyone saw her crouched on all fours, her eyes blue and slitted, her nails even sharper. A red chakra cloak covered her body.
