Chapters 51–75 Vol. 1 Read

Ch. 51Chapter 51

Yuanshi Tianzun resented losing the merit from Buzhou Mountain, while Lu Tian began forging its remains into a treasure to support the Western Human Race. As the Witch-Demon War reached its climax, Lu Tian, Jieyin, and Zhunti secretly emptied the Demon Race Heavenly Court's treasury, leaving the story with their haul secured but the treasury still tied to the Heavenly Court.

  • Zhunti took the remaining peak of Buzhou Mountain, and Yuanshi Tianzun returned to Kunlun furious that he had received no merit.
  • The Witch-Demon War intensified after Gonggong and Zhurong died, while the Black Turtle reincarnated and joined Western Teachings as Lu Tian's junior brother.
  • Lu Tian infused a merit treasure embryo with merit and began melding half of Buzhou Mountain into it to help stabilize the Western Human Race's fortune.
  • Di Jun and Taiyi led the Demon Race against the Witch Clan at the Heavenly Court, intending to lure them into the Zhou Tian Star Dou Great Formation.
  • Lu Tian led Jieyin and Zhunti into the Heavenly Court's hidden treasury, where Zhunti broke through the concealed passage and reinforced its seals.
  • Over ten years, Lu Tian, Jieyin, and Zhunti collected every treasure in the Demon Race treasury, though Jieyin regretted that it was seamlessly integrated with the Heavenly Court.

Ch. 52Chapter 52

Lu Tian and the Western Teachings watched the Witch-Demon Calamity end in the destruction of both clans’ leaders, then Lu Tian visited Styx to repay the debt he owed for transforming his foundation. He offered Styx the Primordial Violet Qi and invited him to join the Western Teachings, then asked him to seal the heavenly secrets for an important discussion.

  • Zhunti gave Lu Tian half a percent of the treasures taken from the Demon Race treasury, and he returned with Jieyin to the Western Pure Land.
  • Kunpeng betrayed Di Jun by seizing control of the Zhou Tian Star Dou Great Formation, but Zhenyuanzi intercepted him and drove him into the North Sea.
  • The Witch and Demon Clans fought for tens of thousands of years; Dijiang, Di Jun, and Taiyi died, while Houtu survived and Nuwa later clashed with Dao De Tianzun over her brother’s fate.
  • Jieyin warned Lu Tian that he still owed Styx for the placenta that transformed his foundation, and Lu Tian went to the Blood Sea to settle the debt.
  • Lu Tian offered Styx the Primordial Violet Qi and invited him to join the Western Teachings, then asked him to seal the heavenly secrets.

Ch. 53Chapter 53

Lu Tian gave Ancestor Minghe Primordial Violet Qi in exchange for joining the Western Teachings and relocating the Blood Sea to the west, where Jieyin and Zhunti installed him as Deputy Leader. Lu Tian then set out to find Houtu and guide her toward establishing reincarnation, finding her wandering in grief over the Witch Clan’s destruction.

  • Lu Tian revealed Primordial Violet Qi to Ancestor Minghe and asked him to join the Western Teachings as Deputy Leader and move the Blood Sea west.
  • Ancestor Minghe accepted, and Jieyin and Zhunti relocated the Blood Sea along with a vast area of surrounding land, shocking the Three Pure Ones.
  • Jieyin and Zhunti settled the Blood Sea in the west and confirmed Ancestor Minghe as Deputy Leader of the Western Teachings.
  • Jieyin and Zhunti questioned Lu Tian about the violet qi, but accepted his claim that it had come with his transformation; Lu Tian kept his ambition to attain Enlightenment through Strength.
  • Lu Tian resolved to find Houtu and help bring about reincarnation, then followed Jieyin and Zhunti’s guidance until he found her wandering in despair over the Witch Clan’s destruction.

Ch. 54Chapter 54

After following Houtu for 129,600 years, Lu Tian persuaded her to establish reincarnation in the west, where she transformed into the Six Paths and revived the Earthly Dao. Styx offered the Blood Sea and Asura Race to support her, then revealed Primordial Violet Qi as he prepared to become a Sage, bringing two new Saints to the west.

  • Lu Tian followed Houtu for 129,600 years until she recovered her resolve, and he asked her to establish reincarnation in the west.
  • Houtu remembered Dijiang and the Witch Clan, then vowed to become the Six Paths and guide the souls of all beings.
  • Styx offered the Blood Sea as the land of reincarnation and the Asura Race as its sixth path, earning immense merit.
  • Houtu's transformation into reincarnation revived the Earthly Dao, and Dao De Tianzun realized Western Teachings had planned for its return.
  • Styx brought forth Primordial Violet Qi, shocking the great powers, and two waves of Sage's Might descended beside him.

Ch. 55Chapter 55

Styx attained an Earthly Sage position, and Houtu became Empress Pingxin as the two new Saints were welcomed across the Primordial World. After Styx credited Lu Tian with helping him attain the Dao, the Western Saints asked Lu Tian to lead a planned Underworld as Yin Tianzi, and he accepted while postponing its establishment until he grew stronger.

  • Jieyin and Zhunti arrived to support Styx, who chose the Earthly Realm after learning that all Heavenly Saint positions were occupied and became an Earthly Sage.
  • Houtu announced that she would be known as Pingxin, moved the Witch Clan into the Netherworld, and took charge of guarding it and presiding over reincarnation.
  • Styx bowed to Lu Tian and publicly thanked him for the help that made his attainment possible.
  • At Spirit Mountain, Styx explained to Lu Tian how Earthly Sages differed from Heavenly Dao Saints and why they were stronger in the West than in the East.
  • Lu Tian proposed establishing an Underworld to govern reincarnation, and Jieyin, Zhunti, and Styx invited him to become its Yin Tianzi.
  • Lu Tian accepted the position but agreed to delay establishing the Underworld until he had improved his cultivation.

Ch. 56Chapter 56

After ten thousand simulated attempts, Lu Tian discovered that he needed the origins of Heaven, Earth, and Human Dao to form the legendary twelfth-grade Three Flowers. With Jieyin, Styx, and Zhunti protecting him, he achieved an unprecedented twelve-grade Dao foundation and broke through to Grand Unity.

  • Lu Tian spent hundreds of millions of years in the Dream World simulating breakthroughs but could not raise his Three Flowers beyond the eleventh grade.
  • Lu Tian devised a secret art to use the origins of Heaven and Earth, then left the Dream World to attempt the breakthrough in reality.
  • Lu Tian asked Jieyin and Styx for refined traces of their origins, and they agreed while Zhunti prepared to guard him.
  • Lu Tian began his breakthrough as the Three Saints protected him and Jieyin and Styx supplied their origins.
  • Lu Tian's demonic heart refined the origins, and he used Purple Bamboo's origin to complete the Human Dao component.
  • Lu Tian formed the unprecedented twelve-grade Dao Flower and attained Grand Unity, leaving the Three Saints astonished.

Ch. 57Chapter 57

After completing his cultivation, Lu Tian studied Jieyin and Zhunti’s reformed scripture, perfected his Vajra Dharma Body, and developed the Great Might Heavenly Dragon Method. The Three Sages then split apart, and Lu Tian recognized the gathering storm of the Investiture of the Gods tribulation and resolved to prepare for his own path to the Dao.

  • Lu Tian answered Jieyin’s summons to Purple Heaven Palace, where Jieyin and Zhunti expounded their reformed Three Worlds Maha Immeasurable Sutra.
  • As he listened, Lu Tian perfected his three-headed, six-armed Vajra Dharma Body and recited and developed the Diamond Sutra with Styx.
  • After years of discussion, Lu Tian shared his Great Might Heavenly Dragon Method, which Jieyin praised for its promise at the Grand Unity realm.
  • At Eight Sceneries Palace, Tongtian told Dao De Tianzun and Yuanshi Tianzun that he had made up his mind, then left; Yuanshi and Dao De accepted the separation.
  • Jieyin, Zhunti, and Styx sensed the Three Sages’ division, while Lu Tian saw purple fortune split into three streams, one pointing toward Golden Ao Immortal Island.
  • Lu Tian recognized that the Investiture of the Gods tribulation was approaching and decided to prepare while pursuing fortune, merit, and spiritual treasures.

Ch. 58Chapter 58

Hongjun appointed Haotian and Jade Pond to govern the Heavenly Court after a period of tribulations, while Lu Tian accepted the devoted Zhending as his disciple and began teaching him the Western Teachings. The chapter ended as Hongjun summoned the Six Sages and addressed Jieyin and Zhunti about their conduct during the Witch-Demon Calamity.

  • Nuwa reflected on the Three Pure Ones' division and warned that she would fight Taiqing if he failed to grant her brother the position of Human Emperor.
  • Hongjun appointed Haotian and Jade Pond to eventually become Emperor and Empress of the Heavenly Court after they endured one hundred twenty-nine thousand six hundred tribulations.
  • Zhending alone completed a thousand-year journey to Spirit Mountain, where Lu Tian's sermon restored his youth and raised him to the Heavenly Immortal realm.
  • Lu Tian accepted Zhending as his disciple after hearing his wish to spread cultivation among humanity, and the Western Teachings' disciples gave him spiritual treasures.
  • Lu Tian discovered that Zhending possessed a natural Buddha Bone Spirit Embryo and began teaching him the Western Teachings while Jieyin and Zhunti were away.
  • Hongjun summoned the Six Sages to Purple Cloud Palace and praised Jieyin and Zhunti for how they had handled matters during the Witch-Demon Calamity.

Ch. 59Chapter 59

After Hongjun declared that humanity would become the protagonist of heaven and earth, Nuwa asked Lu Tian to arrange Fuxi’s reincarnation, and Lu Tian sent Fuxi’s spirit to be reborn in the west. Lu Tian suspected Hongjun had begun merging with the Heavenly Dao, while Pingxin watched the Human Path in silence.

  • Hongjun told the sages that the human race would produce the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors, and that each sage could send someone to guide them.
  • Nuwa asked Jieyin and Zhunti to help secure Houtu’s approval for Fuxi’s reincarnation, and they pointed out that Lu Tian’s consent was also needed.
  • Nuwa asked Lu Tian to reincarnate Fuxi in the west; after he invoked Fuxi’s past suffering in the east, she agreed but forbade Fuxi from joining the Western Teachings.
  • Lu Tian accepted Fuxi’s damaged primordial spirit and took it to the Netherworld, where Zhunti explained Hongjun’s decree to Pingxin and Styx.
  • Lu Tian sent Fuxi’s spirit through the Human Path to be reborn in the west, while he suspected Hongjun’s changed attitude meant he had begun merging with the Heavenly Dao.

Ch. 60Chapter 60

Fuxi reincarnated in the west, prompting Nuwa to battle Dao De Tianzun and Yuanshi Tianzun when they demanded an explanation. As Fuxi grew into a tribal leader, the Western Teachings prepared to send an Imperial Tutor to guide him, and Lu Tian declined the opportunity.

  • Pingxin sent Xing Tian and Jiu Feng to choose Witch Clan members for reincarnation as humans, while Nuwa agreed to remain in the Western Teachings and watch over Fuxi's reincarnation.
  • A hundred years later, Fuxi's spirit entered a girl in Thunder Marsh, and she became pregnant; Dao De Tianzun learned of the Western Teachings' scheme and stormed west with Yuanshi Tianzun.
  • Nuwa attacked Dao De Tianzun and Yuanshi Tianzun inside the Map of Mountains and Rivers, then Jieyin and Zhunti intervened to end the confrontation.
  • When Fuxi was born, Nuwa placed the River Diagram and Luo Shu beside him, and she watched him grow into a gifted cultivator and tribal leader who expanded his people's territory.
  • Jieyin and Zhunti asked their disciples to choose an Imperial Tutor for Fuxi, and Lu Tian volunteered to give up the position so one of his senior brothers could take it.

Ch. 61Chapter 61

Xuangui became Fuxi’s cultivation teacher while Lu Tian completed a merit spiritual treasure capable of absorbing a race’s fortune. Lu Tian set out to seek Nuwa’s approval before giving the seal to Fuxi, leaving its role in the Western Human Race unresolved.

  • Lu Tian withdrew from the contest to become Imperial Tutor so he could finish refining his merit spiritual treasure, and Jieyin and Zhunti chose Xuangui to guide Fuxi.
  • Xuangui traveled to the Fuxi Tribe and accepted Fuxi as a disciple without formally converting him to the Western Teachings, an arrangement Nuwa tolerated.
  • Xuangui settled in the tribe and taught Fuxi cultivation and deduction, helping him deepen his understanding of the River Diagram and Luo Shu.
  • Lu Tian completed a powerful merit seal forged with a severed vein of Buzhou Mountain, which could absorb the fortune of a race or teaching.
  • Lu Tian decided that Fuxi should use the seal to strengthen the Western Human Race’s fortune, and he went to Nuwa’s Dao field to report his plan.

Ch. 62Chapter 62

Lu Tian lent Fuxi a merit-forged imperial seal, and Fuxi used his wisdom and accomplishments to unify the Western Human Race. Seeing that his people’s faith was inseparable from the Western Teachings, Fuxi asked the sect to share authority with him, prompting its leaders to discuss how to accept while avoiding interference in human affairs.

  • Lu Tian showed Nuwa the imperial seal and, with her permission, gave it to the Black Tortoise to deliver to Fuxi.
  • Fuxi mastered the Eight Trigrams, unified the Western Human Race, and recognized how deeply the Western Teachings had shaped his people’s beliefs.
  • Fuxi asked the Black Tortoise to invite the Buddha to legitimize his rule and to establish Western Teachings temples and shrines among the Human Race.
  • The Black Tortoise returned to Spirit Mountain, where Jieyin convened the sect’s leaders and disciples to discuss Fuxi’s proposal.
  • Jieyin proposed that the Western Teachings govern alongside Fuxi in name while refraining from the Human Race’s internal affairs and focusing on doctrine and faith.

Ch. 63Chapter 63

The Western Teachings staged Fuxi’s enthronement as Human Emperor, drawing the tribes and the gathered Saints into a ceremony that tied the human race’s destiny to Buddhism. Lu Tian then revealed a prepared Human Dao Supreme Treasure, shocking the assembled powers as its inscription appeared.

  • Jieyin arranged for Lu Tian, Zhunti, and Ancestor Minghe to elevate Fuxi’s status at his enthronement, while the other Western Teachings disciples prepared to display their strength.
  • Leaders from more than ten thousand tribes bowed to Fuxi, and the Seven Sages gathered to witness the ceremony as the Western Saints and their disciples displayed their Buddhist forms.
  • The Ritual Official called on the Western Saints to crown Fuxi and jointly govern the human race, alarming the other powers and prompting Dao De Tianzun to consider the Kongtong Seal.
  • Tongtian Jiaozhu reflected on Lu Tian’s cultivation and education, then secretly asked Duobao to assess his chances against him.
  • Lu Tian produced a seal from Fuxi’s True Spirit, revealing a Postnatal Merit Spiritual Treasure and Human Dao Supreme Treasure that stunned Dao De Tianzun and Yuanshi Tianzun.
  • The seal’s power had grown with the human race’s fortune, and the eight characters “By the Mandate of Heaven, may it endure forever” appeared on its base.

Ch. 64Chapter 64

Lu Tian invested Fuxi as the Human Emperor, and Fuxi’s merit-fueled cultivation reached the peak of the Quasi-Saint realm. Fuxi joined the Western Teachings as Namo Emperor Tathagata and helped establish Fanjing Mountain as their sacred land among humanity.

  • Lu Tian used the Human Emperor Seal to invest Fuxi as the Western Human Emperor, and merit raised Fuxi to the peak of the Quasi-Saint realm while Black Tortoise entered the Quasi-Saint realm.
  • Fuxi told Nuwa that his duties as Human Emperor would keep him from often visiting her, then thanked Black Tortoise for his guidance.
  • Fuxi declared himself a disciple of the Western Teachings and sought a Buddha title, so Jieyin named him Namo Emperor Tathagata and granted him authority to oversee humanity’s destiny.
  • Lu Tian established the Fanjing Mountain lineage among humanity, and the Western Teachings’ leaders and disciples enfeoffed the mountain as their sacred land.

Ch. 65Chapter 65

The Earth Veins transformed Fanjing Mountain into a Blessed Land as the immortals celebrated the Human Emperor's coronation. When Taiyi Zhenren challenged Lu Tian, Lu Tian defeated him with a glance, while Yuanshi Tianzun discovered a lingering heart demon that urged Taiyi to join the Western Teachings.

  • The Earth Veins poured energy into Fanjing Mountain, making it flourish as a new Blessed Land and producing genuine Earth-Gushing Golden Lotuses; Lu Tian received twelve Sea-Calming Divine Beads from the system.
  • During the celebration, Lu Tian eyed Zhao Gongming's Sea-Calming Divine Beads and resolved to claim them during the Investiture of the Gods tribulation, while Taiyi Zhenren struggled with the humiliation of his past defeat.
  • After the feast, Taiyi Zhenren challenged Lu Tian, and the two ascended to the First Heaven to fight before the watching immortals.
  • Lu Tian's demonic gaze froze Taiyi Zhenren and knocked his Yin Yang Twin Swords, Wind Fire Wheels, and Golden Brick from his grasp; Lu Tian collected the treasures before returning them.
  • Yuanshi Tianzun retrieved the unconscious Taiyi Zhenren and used the Scripture of Purity and Tranquility to suppress his heart demon, but Taiyi still heard a voice urging him to take refuge in the Western Teachings.

Ch. 66Chapter 66

Fuxi warned Nuwa about the human race’s tribulations, but when an epidemic struck the east, Nuwa’s attempt to help was stopped by Dao De Tianzun. As Xuandu and the Western Teachings’ Pharmacist and Lu Tian set out to guide Shennong, Shennong discovered that ordinary medicinal herbs could treat illness and began learning their use.

  • Fuxi told Nuwa that becoming Human Emperor in the west had spared him a prison-like tribulation and urged her to care for the human race.
  • When an epidemic devastated the eastern tribes, Nuwa sent Lingzhuzi to treat the sick, but Dao De Tianzun brought him back and said the plague was a tribulation leading to the Earth Emperor.
  • Dao De Tianzun sent Xuandu to teach the Earth Emperor alchemy, while Jieyin sent Pharmacist east to contend with Xuandu and Lu Tian to assist him.
  • Xuandu found Shennong Shi, taught him the Great Dao of the Golden Elixir, and helped him cure the plague, but Shennong worried that alchemy was too difficult for ordinary people to learn.
  • Shennong secretly watched an old man cure a poisoned child with herbs, then asked the old man to teach him how to use medicinal plants to treat illness.

Ch. 67Chapter 67

Pharmacist taught Shennong the Dao of medicinal herbs, prompting Xuandu to challenge him over the Human Sovereign's merit. After Xuandu defeated Pharmacist, Lu Tian intervened and overwhelmed Xuandu with a single blade strike, leaving the human race free to choose between their teachings.

  • Pharmacist revealed himself to Xuandu and passed his herbal knowledge to Shennong while Lu Tian kept Xuandu at bay.
  • Xuandu and Pharmacist fought for forty-nine days, and Xuandu narrowly won with the Eight Trigrams Purple Gold Furnace and Six Ding Divine Fire.
  • Pharmacist argued that the human race should choose between the Golden Pill Dao and the Dao of medicinal herbs, but Xuandu refused to yield.
  • Lu Tian attacked Xuandu with the Moon Washing Blade and defeated him with one devastating strike.
  • Lu Tian and Pharmacist returned to the human tribe and declared that each teaching could preach according to its abilities, leaving the choice to the human race.

Ch. 68Chapter 68

After Shennong unified the eastern human race and became its Human Emperor, he traveled west to meet Fuxi and proposed reunifying humanity. The chapter ends with both emperors abdicating under Heaven’s warning, as Fuxi joined the Western Teachings and learned that the eastward spread of their faith had been blocked.

  • Dao De Tianzun treated Xuandu’s wounds, reprimanded him for falling behind Lu Tian, and promised to arrange his training after the struggle for humanity’s fortune ended.
  • Shennong advanced herbal medicine and other practical arts, unified the Eastern Human Race, and received enough merit to become a peak Quasi-Saint and the new Human Emperor.
  • Shennong visited Fuxi in the west and proposed uniting the eastern and western human races under Fuxi, but Fuxi warned that Heaven’s course tied their merger to a future war.
  • Empress Pingxin sent Witch Clan members through reincarnation to form the Jiuli tribe and contend for the final Human Emperor position.
  • Fuxi and Shennong abdicated on the same day; Fuxi then joined the Western Teachings and learned that Tongtian’s Jie Teachings had thwarted their efforts to spread westward teachings in the east.

Ch. 69Chapter 69

Shennong entered Fire Cloud Cave, while Fuxi avoided joining him after Jieyin and Zhunti persuaded the Dao Ancestor that Fuxi had no duty to guard the East’s fortune. With the eastern and western human races divided, Xuanyuan and Chiyou rose as rival contenders for the Human Emperor’s title, and their forces began probing across Two Realms Mountain.

  • Shennong accepted Dao De Tianzun’s charge to guard Fire Cloud Cave and protect the human race’s fortune.
  • Dao De Tianzun went to the Western Teachings to bring Fuxi to Fire Cloud Cave, but Fuxi argued that he owed no service to the East, and Jieyin and Zhunti backed him.
  • At Purple Firmament Palace, the Dao Ancestor agreed that Fuxi did not have to guard the East’s fortune, so Fuxi returned to Spirit Mountain as the Namo Emperor Tathagata.
  • Yuanshi Tianzun sent Guangchengzi to guide Xuanyuan, warning him that Xuanyuan’s rival was in the West.
  • Xuanyuan united the eastern human tribes while Chiyou, after awakening his Witch Clan heritage, united the western tribes and recalled former subordinates from the Netherworld.
  • Xuanyuan and Chiyou each sought to cross Two Realms Mountain and conquer the other’s territory, and their forces began clashing as they tested one another.

Ch. 70Chapter 70

As the human conflict between Xuanyuan and Chiyou intensified, Lu Tian declined to intervene and prepared to establish the underworld as Yin Tianzi. Haotian rebuilt the Heavenly Court, and after eight hundred years Lu Tian won the Earthly Dao’s recognition and formally established the underworld.

  • Jieyin asked the Western Teachings how to support Chiyou, and Ancestor Minghe proposed sending Asura members to reincarnate and aid him.
  • Lu Tian said he would not join the struggle for the Human Emperor’s throne because he sensed the time to establish the underworld was near.
  • Hongjun sent Haotian and Jade Pond to reestablish the Heavenly Court, and Haotian gathered resources and announced its formal reopening eight hundred years later.
  • Lu Tian announced that he would establish the underworld on the same date, prompting Haotian to seek support from Nuwa and the Three Pure Ones and Zhenyuanzi to consider joining the west.
  • After eight hundred years, Lu Tian used the Human Emperor Seal to merge with the underworld’s destiny, declare himself Yin Tianzi, and summon the Book of Life and Death.

Ch. 71Chapter 71

Lu Tian became the Yin Tianzi and established the Underworld’s divine hierarchy with the Shepherd God List, drawing powerful allies and merit to his new realm. He then ordered Xing Tian and the other appointed officials to begin guiding the dead and maintaining the order of reincarnation.

  • The Book of Life and Death appeared in the Netherworld, and the system granted Lu Tian the Divine Control Scroll.
  • Pingxin, Minghe, Jieyin, Zhunti, Fuxi, and other powers congratulated Lu Tian, while the Witch Clan, Asura Race, and Western Teachings sent forces to serve in the Underworld.
  • Lu Tian used the Shepherd God List to enfeoff the Witch Clan warriors, Asuras, and novice monks as Underworld gods, then appointed major officials, including Black Tortoise, Pharmacist, Xing Tian, and Maitreya.
  • Merit descended after the appointments, and Pharmacist broke through to the Quasi-Saint realm as the Underworld’s structure was established.
  • Lu Tian ordered Xing Tian to guard the Ghost Gate Pass and assigned Papiyas, Jiu Feng, Mahabrahma, and Maitreya to help govern the Underworld.
  • Lu Tian summoned the Ten Yama Kings and judges to hear his command.

Ch. 72Chapter 72

Lu Tian organized the underworld’s rule over the dead, while Dizang vowed to save condemned souls and Zhenyuanzi stayed to study the Earthly Dao. Haotian established the Heavenly Court and sent Nine Heavens Profound Maiden to assist Xuanyuan as war with Chiyou approached.

  • Lu Tian distributed the Book of Life and Death, ordered underworld forces to collect souls, and declared that the dead would be judged and reincarnated under the underworld’s authority.
  • The underworld stabilized its operations, and Zhenyuanzi agreed to reside there temporarily after gaining insight into the Earthly Dao.
  • Dizang vowed to save the dead until hell was empty, and Lu Tian assigned him to guide deeply sinful ghosts out of torment.
  • Haotian and Jade Pond established the Heavenly Court, but after most immortals refused to join, they chose to recruit human talent and sent Nine Heavens Profound Maiden to aid Xuanyuan.
  • Chiyou’s soldiers crossed Two Realms Mountain, bringing Xuanyuan’s forces to the brink of war with the Western Human Race.
  • Nine Heavens Profound Maiden offered Xuanyuan and Guangchengzi Heavenly Court support, and Yuanshi Tianzun ordered Guangchengzi to cooperate with her.

Ch. 73Chapter 73

Chiyou’s Western army initially overwhelmed Xuanyuan’s forces, but Feng Hou’s new divination art helped the Eastern tribes hold their ground. Xuanyuan enlisted the Dragon Clan, whose intervention defeated Chiyou, and Lu Tian then arrived to offer Chiyou a way to deal with them.

  • Chiyou rejected his brothers’ proposal to summon the Witch Clan and led the Western army toward Two Realms Mountain, where he opened the war with an assault.
  • Chiyou’s tortoiseshell chart guided repeated victories until the Nine Heavens Profound Maiden gave Feng Hou a wordless jade tome, which he used to create Feng Hou Qi Men and stalemate the Western army.
  • Xuanyuan sought aid from the Dragon Clan and promised to make dragons the Eastern Human Race’s totem; Ying Long agreed to send the Dragon Clan’s elite once the tribes began worshipping them.
  • After Eastern tribes adopted dragon totems, a thousand dragons defeated Chiyou’s forces, driving the Western army from its occupied territory.
  • Lu Tian returned to the west, brought Zhending to meet Chiyou, and offered to resolve the Dragon Clan problem without demanding payment.

Ch. 74Chapter 74

Lu Tian sent Zhending to capture a true dragon and studied the fierce baleful aura afflicting Chiyou, then intervened when the Dragon Clan entered the renewed war. The chapter ended with Lu Tian and six Quasi-Saints confronting Ying Long as a Saint’s power sealed the battlefield.

  • Lu Tian told Zhending to capture a dragon and explained his plan to bring the Dragon Clan into Western Teachings, while promising to rescue him if needed.
  • Lu Tian examined Chiyou’s fierce baleful aura, extracted a thread to study, and left Chiyou to suppress it in the meantime.
  • After the truce ended, Chiyou led his army into battle as the Dragon Clan aided the East, and Zhending captured two true dragons before the West Sea Dragon King attacked him.
  • Maitreya rescued Zhending and confronted the Dragon Kings, but Ying Long arrived, sealed the area, and freed the West Sea Dragon King.
  • Lu Tian arrived with six Quasi-Saints and offered Ying Long the choice of joining the West or guarding the sea eye; Ying Long refused and fought them.
  • A Saint’s power sealed the battlefield, and Styx told Lu Tian to proceed while sparing some dragons for his own purposes.

Ch. 75Chapter 75

Lu Tian and the underworld’s six Quasi-Saints defeated Ying Long’s advance and captured a large part of the Dragon Clan, prompting Ying Long to withdraw from the Human Race conflict and send his captured descendants to the West. Lu Tian assigned the dragons to the underworld and Western Teachings, then returned to Spirit Mountain, where the West Sea Dragon King faced the assembled powers.

  • Lu Tian urged the six Quasi-Saints to fight without worrying about damaging the Western Earth Veins, and they drove Ying Long down to the Thirty-Second Heaven.
  • Dao De Tianzun and Yuanshi Tianzun agreed to visit Golden Ao Island together, while Lu Tian captured more than a thousand dragons, including the Four Sea Dragon Kings, in his Buddha Kingdom in Palm.
  • Ying Long declared the Dragon Clan’s withdrawal from the Human Race battlefield and urged the captured dragons to take refuge in the West; Lu Tian agreed to treat them well.
  • Lu Tian declined Xing Tian’s offer to capture the Nine Heavens Profound Maiden, gave her a jade hairpin, and returned to the underworld with his allies.
  • Lu Tian assigned half the captured dragons to guard the underworld’s seas and hells, then distributed the rest between Ancestor Minghe and the Western Teachings at Spirit Mountain.
  • Lu Tian appointed his disciple to lead the Eight Divisions of Heavenly Dragons, leaving the West Sea Dragon King trembling before the gathered powers.
Arc 3 of 5
