Toru accepted the task.
The next day.
It happened to be Sunday. Toru officially started his post and prepared to head to the research facility listed in the commission.
Before going, however, Toru needed to find someone: Orochimaru's disciple, Mitarashi Anko.
Among the people Toru knew, Mitarashi Anko was perhaps the one who understood Orochimaru best.
Therefore, before officially becoming Orochimaru's assistant, Toru wanted to learn more about him.

Anko waved her hand dismissively and laughed. "Just kidding. Come in and sit for a while."
Toru walked inside and got straight to the point. "What kind of person is Orochimaru?"
Anko gestured for Toru to sit on the sofa in her home.
Toru casually asked, "Is it just you living here? Where are your parents?"
Anko suddenly fell silent, startling Toru into thinking he had said something wrong.
Then, after a long pause, Anko burst out laughing. "Hahahaha! They're out on a mission. I'm the only one home. Look how scared you got."
Toru rubbed his forehead helplessly. Anko then became serious and answered his first question. "I think Sensei is amazing. He's calm, composed, powerful, and brave. Though he can be strict and scary sometimes, overall, he's the person I respect most aside from my parents."
Toru nodded and continued asking
