Toru immediately leaped out of the hot spring, standing naked amid the mist. He picked up his yukata, threw it on, and prepared to vault over the wall to the women's bath.
The men's and women's baths of this hot spring were some distance apart, perhaps to avoid impropriety, or perhaps because they had simply been two separate springs from the start.
But that distance was still within the sensing range of Toru's Six Eyes.
At that moment, Toru sensed a malicious presence approaching the women's bath where Kurenai was.
Toru had originally been in such a hurry to get there that he had not even had time to tie the sash of his yukata.
He vaulted over the wall barefoot, his yukata billowing behind him in the wind. He was practically streaking beneath the moonlight.
But soon, Toru slowed down and finally remembered that he was letting it all hang out. Lowering his head, he tied his sash.
Being barefoot was no problem. He had Limitless active beneath his feet; though he appeared to be stepping on the ground, he could not even crush an ant.
Toru arrived at the women's bath and vaulted over its wall.
Kurenai stood at the edge of the bath in her yukata, while a man in a black robe stood motionless before her.
By the wall, two girls who had hastily wrapped themselves in yukatas huddled in the corner, trembling. They had clearly been frightened.
"Are you all right, Kurenai?"
Toru asked, though he already knew the answer.
In fact, Toru had known on the way over that Kurenai had instantly subdued the black-robed man before her.
Though the man had Chakra in his body, he was weaker than even an ordinary Konoha Genin. How could he possibly be a match for Yuhi
