"From Kisame's account, it seems that within the Akatsuki, Obito Uchiha's theft of Sharingan from the Land of Lightning caused some unpleasantness with their leader, Nagato.
"Combined with Yamato's information, if we spread the word, the conflict within the Akatsuki will likely continue to escalate."
"Once the conflict blows up, Obito Uchiha and Black Zetsu may leave the Akatsuki.
"As long as Black Zetsu leaves the Akatsuki, dealing with the Akatsuki will become much easier."
Without Black Zetsu, the Akatsuki would suffer a tremendous loss. An intelligence chief that obedient and useful was hard to find.
Once they lost Black Zetsu, the Akatsuki would not exactly become blind and deaf, but they would not be much better off. Without Black Zetsu gathering intelligence, even locating the tailed beasts would become a major problem for Nagato.
None of the other Akatsuki members possessed Black Zetsu's formidable intelligence-gathering abilities.
That left Nagato with only one option: charge in headfirst!

Iwagakure's tailed beast was already gone, so Iwagakure was safe for now. The villages that still had tailed beasts needed to be cautious.
The most endangered among them was Sunagakure.
Nagato did not possess Madara Uchiha's ability to seal tailed beasts whenever he pleased.
He needed to rely on others to seal them, and he also had to do so in the tailed beasts' order. That meant Sunagakure would be the first to come under attack.
Kumogakure would be next.
"After the two of you return to your villages, it would be best to make some preparations. The Akatsuki may enter your villages to seize the tailed beasts. Sunagakure is the first village in their sights."
