Background / History

Xiao Wu was originally a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soft Bone Rabbit who took human form to cultivate anew. Her father was eaten by a Soul Beast from the Land of Great Evil, while her mother was killed by Bibi Dong while protecting Xiao Wu's escape. Before meeting Lu Chen, Da Ming and Er Ming were the only family she had left. 10 42

She did not know her own surname, introducing herself simply as “Xiao Wu, the Wu from dancing.” 10

Appearance

Xiao Wu first appears as a girl around Lu Chen's height, with a porcelain-like face, flawless skin, and lively crimson eyes. 9

She is proud of her strength and readily takes charge in a fight, demanding that Nuoding Academy's official students address her as “Sister Xiao Wu” after defeating them. 49 Her confidence is tempered by caution around her Soul Beast identity; when Lu Chen and Gu Yuena exposed it, she initially considered fleeing back to Star Dou Forest. 41

Star Dou Forest Encounter

Lu Chen first spotted Xiao Wu while she was standing on Er Ming's palm in the depths of Star Dou Forest. He pretended to rescue her, incapacitated Er Ming, and escaped with her; Xiao Wu remained suspicious of how a human child could withstand a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast's aura. 8 9

Xiao Wu concealed her identity by claiming she was lost. When Da Ming arrived, she arranged for Lu Chen to be knocked unconscious and removed from the forest so that her connection to the Soul Beasts would not be exposed. 10

Nuoding Academy

Xiao Wu reunited with Lu Chen as a work-study student in Dorm 7. She unsuccessfully tried to throw him with her soft technique, then fought Tang San after he offered rabbit meat to the dorm. 33

After receiving her modified thousand-year ring, she helped defeat the official students led by Boss Xiao and became the academy's recognized new boss. 49

Identity Revelation and Transformation

Gu Yuena accidentally revealed that Xiao Wu was a transformed Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast. Terrified of being hunted, Xiao Wu was reassured when Lu Chen and Gu Yuena promised to protect her. 40 41
