Danzo

To make everyone believe the photos had definitely been taken secretly, Jin also secretly snapped photos of several men fooling around with one woman elsewhere in Konoha, then quietly scattered them along the main roads. The next night, Jin left behind a clone and, alone under the cover of darkness, used the Gale Technique to conceal himself before leaving Konoha for other nations, scattering photos everywhere along the way! Every photo he had produced had already been copied hundreds of times. Along the road, he also secretly photographed some "little stories" from other ninja villages. Naturally, none of the protagonists in these little stories were decent people. Jin then extorted money from them, threatening to release the photos to the public if they refused to pay. At this point, everyone in the Naruto world believed the stories about Danzo. Even if someone claimed they were fake, no one believed them!

Overwhelming rumors rapidly spread throughout the Naruto world.

Whenever Konoha Village's residents went out, they were mocked. It was nothing when only one or two people were ridiculed, but when the number rose to sixty percent, the villagers of Konoha erupted! Led by one villager, they held a massive protest, shouting for Danzo to be stripped of every position in the Elder Council! The procession first went to Danzo's home, then to the Hokage's office. The thunderous slogans made the Third Hokage's ears ring inside the building!

The Third Hokage puffed on his pipe, staring at the densely packed documents before him and listening to the chants outside. His brows were furrowed as tightly as they could be. With a sigh, he said, "Sigh, what should we do? Danzo, tell me, what should we do?"

Danzo let out a helpless sigh and said dejectedly, "What else can I do? I resign from my position in the Elder Council. I will retire into seclusion! As long as Konoha is not invaded, please do not disturb me. I no longer have the face to remain in Konoha! I am now Konoha's disgrace! I am willing to hand over all my authority. I hope Konoha only grows stronger! I leave it to you, Lord Third Hokage!" He gave a deep bow, then left through the window.

Watching Danzo's departing back, the Third Hokage felt that it looked incredibly desolate. He sighed and took a deep drag from his pipe. "Danzo used to be such a proud man! He was always very careful too! Could it be that, with age, his ninja abilities declined when he was 'doing things'? Or has Danzo himself already fallen below Kage level? This mysterious photographer is far too formidable! It seems I need to be more careful from now on!"

The Third Hokage calmly walked out of the Hokage's office. The crowd outside immediately fell silent. The Third Hokage looked over the crowd and shouted, "Danzo has already resigned. He is no longer a member of the Elder Council. I hope everyone will consider Danzo's past contributions to Konoha and let him spend his old age in peace."

Just like that, Danzo was ruined by Jin's scheme and resigned in bitterness.

By then, Jin had already achieved the result he wanted. When he heard the news, he merely gave a wicked smile. Then, he continued toward another ninja village. Jin had no intention of returning to Konoha yet. He still wanted to find a few helpers and add a little more strength to Konoha! During this time, Jin's schedule had completely changed. He slept in the mornings, disguised himself as a little old man to enter villages and look for people in the afternoons, traveled at night, and robbed bandits whenever he encountered them. No matter how large or small a village was, Jin would always go in and take a look. Whenever he saw pitiful children, he would buy them something to eat and leave behind some money. His image quickly spread far and wide. Everywhere he went, people greeted him with friendly looks. That was something Jin had not expected.

A month passed in a rush. Jin had not found any promising companions, and because he had been sleeping rough every day and constantly staying on guard, afraid that some expert might set their sights on him, Jin was mentally exhausted.

"Hey! Old man! Leave behind your toll money! Otherwise, this day next year will be your death anniversary!" a burly man in his thirties roared. A powerful aura radiated from him, one that ordinary civilians could hardly withstand.

Jin looked at the burly man and imitated an old man's voice. "Oh? I've already killed more than ten bandit gangs. You weren't sent here to die, were you?"

The burly man chuckled, revealing two rows of yellow teeth. "I just want to test myself against you. What do you say?"

Jin shook his head. "Not interested. I have urgent business!" Without even looking at the burly man ahead of him, he walked straight past. As they brushed shoulders, the man moved, throwing a punch at Jin. Jin used the Body Flicker Technique and vanished into thin air. The burly man's mouth fell open as he stared wide-eyed at the spot where Jin had disappeared. Jin appeared behind him, wrapped his right fist in Lightning Release chakra, and drove it straight into the man's back. The burly man was sent flying far away. Jin walked over and looked at the blood dripping from the corner of his mouth. "Who sent you? What's your purpose?"

The burly man wiped the blood from his mouth, his gaze turning cold. "I didn't expect you to be this strong! You're only a Chunin, yet you made this Jonin cough up blood. Although you caught me off guard, I was only testing the strength of your attack. To tell you the truth, Danzo of Konoha Village wants to recruit you. But even if you know that, it's useless. Because you still aren't strong enough. Although you activated the Body Flicker Technique without forming hand seals just now, that won't work on me. Because I'm a Jonin with a bloodline limit. Do you understand?"

Jin was stunned for a moment. Then he used his own unique genjutsu.

Two people stood in a blood-red world. Jin stood there without saying a word. The burly man looked up at the sky, where faint blood clouds drifted past, then looked down at the ground, which was stained with blood. He glanced at the sea beside him, only to find a sea of blood. The burly man shouted in terror, "Where is this?" Jin merely smiled at him without answering. "Ah—" The burly man collapsed.

Then he thought, By all rights, Danzo shouldn't have much power left. Could he be retreating in order to advance? Right, he still has the subordinates he personally cultivated—the Root. It seems I need to reach Jonin as soon as possible, then return to Konoha and kill Danzo. If I awaken the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan and use level-ten genjutsu, I'll only need two seconds.
