White's Battle for Possession

"Woof! Woof! Woof!" A burst of barking startled Jin awake.

A smile instantly spread across Jin's face.

"Grandpa, am I really useless? I couldn't even protect the food I gave you." A dirty little girl squatted before Jin and spoke apologetically.

"Cough, cough, cough!" Jin coughed several times and cursed inwardly, Damn it, I caught a cold! Then he smiled. "How could you be useless? From now on, you'll follow me! What's your name? Do you have any dreams?"

"My name is Mizunotsuki Haku. You can call me Haku. I don't have any dreams yet." Haku's face was pale as she spoke.

"Come on, help me to an inn first. I need to rest right away!" Jin said after coughing twice.

"But... but I don't have any money." Haku's little face reddened.

"Hurry up, I have money. I can't hold on much longer. Let's go to the nearest inn." Jin was afraid Zabuza might come out and stir up trouble again.

"Okay, I know a place!" Haku said.

Just as the two were about to leave, two figures suddenly appeared in front of them. Jin was startled when he saw them. He cursed himself inwardly, You damned crow mouth. What the hell, the very thing I feared showed up!

Haku blushed and spat lightly. "You liar!"

Jin burst into laughter and said smugly, "I'm not even four yet. If I didn't disguise myself, people would snatch me away! Then they'd cut open my stomach and study my body. I'm scared! So I had no choice but to do this! Just be careful if you see those two again. They're quite strong. If I hadn't bluffed them with a secret technique that day, I might've been finished! "But we don't have much money left! And what should I call you now?" Haku asked.

The weather was clear and sunny. The prosperity of the Land of Water opened Jin's eyes, and the street snacks made his mouth water. Haku was even more like a happy little angel, eating snacks she had once only been able to look at while happily strolling around with Jin. Jin even took Haku to the cinema to watch a movie, and it moved her to tears for a long time. Jin knew Haku's personality, so he whispered, "Those two aren't my opponents either. I just lack combat experience. The reason I didn't kill them last time was because I wanted to use them for practice later and gain real combat experience. Don't worry, it'll be fine."
