Background / History

Tsunade is the First Hokage’s granddaughter and, at age twenty-nine, had fallen into drunken isolation following the deaths of her younger brother Nawaki and her lover Dan. Although famed for her combat strength and medical skill, she developed severe hemophobia after failing to save Dan despite attempting medical treatment. 13 14

She first encountered the twelve-year-old Uchiha En in the Forest of Death while drunk beneath a tree.
