Uchiha Feng changed the subject and offered them a solution.

The two of them were now both as strong as jonin, and their fighting styles differed greatly from those of shinobi in the ninja world. They already had more than enough ability to hunt for soul points.

Empowered by the cards, these clones were stronger than ordinary clones. Even if they failed, the price they paid would be exceptionally low—it would only mean losing a clone.

The original Uchiha Feng had been unwilling to hunt innocent people or beasts, but during this period, he had made a new discovery.

It was a farewell letter that described some of the turmoil within the Ninja Cat Clan.

The elder's contracted beast was a Nether Cat Clan ninja cat named Ye.

Among the Ninja Cat Clan, however, Nether Cats made up only a small fraction. Because they were entirely black, they were regarded as omens of misfortune in human lands.

Yet because the Nether Cat Clan was powerful, it had always controlled the duplicate copies of the Ninja Cat Clan's summoning scrolls.

The ones who truly held the dominant position were the patterned cats, the sort humans considered lucky charms that protected households and warded off evil.

Before the war began, Danzo of Konoha's Root had already sent his contracted beasts from the Dream Tapir Clan to slaughter the Nether Cat Clan's ninja cats.

And those snobbish cats of other colors actually refused to acknowledge that the Nether Cat Clan were cats?

Yet after the Nether Cat Clan had been wiped out, they seized the Uchiha Clan's inheritance and treasures.

Now, those treasures had been taken by Danzo, while the inheritance had been hidden away by the Ninja Cat Clan.

That was why Uchiha Feng had come to the Land of Iron, to this gathering place of ninja cats, to reclaim what belonged to him.

That was the Uchiha Clan's true wealth!

In the ninja world, money and the contracts he had previously sold were merely accessories to power!

Only ninjutsu and knowledge could become power. They were the true wealth of the ninja world.

And the Uchiha Clan was the clan that possessed the most ninjutsu in the ninja world.

Hatake Kakashi had gained the reputation of the Copy Ninja merely by possessing one of Uchiha Obito's eyes, and in a little over a decade, he had copied thousands of ninjutsu!

So how much had the Uchiha Clan accumulated over the course of centuries?

Only such a powerful clan, one that represented military might in itself, would have the character "Great" in the names of some of its signature ninjutsu.

For example, the Great Fireball Jutsu was the Uchiha Clan's signature technique.

When he had destroyed that merchant guild building today, Uchiha Feng had truly wanted to use one of the Uchiha Clan's famed Fire Release techniques, but he had not mastered a single Fire Release ninjutsu.

On the contrary, those two traitors had already mastered the Great Fireball Jutsu because of Uchiha Fugaku's favoritism.

But Uchiha Fugaku could never have imagined that a large portion of the inheritance and ninjutsu he had left for his precious sons would be intercepted by that sneaky bastard Danzo.

Later, Danzo even came to possess Uchiha Clan forbidden techniques such as Izanagi and Izanami.

In the end, Uchiha Sasuke even had to learn the so-called Chidori from Hatake Kakashi. That hand-signless A-rank ninjutsu looked impressive, but the Uchiha Clan's foundation went far beyond that.

People in the ninja world only knew that Konoha had a forbidden technique master named Tobirama Senju.

But they did not know that there was someone who had mastered even more ninjutsu and forbidden techniques than Tobirama Senju: Uchiha Madara.

After being revived through Edo Tensei, he had even been capable of releasing himself from Edo Tensei. That proved he had also mastered, or at least understood, the detailed method of cultivating Edo Tensei.

After absorbing Wood Release cells, he had even mastered some Wood Release ninjutsu.

Those eyes of his had never existed solely for casting genjutsu.

Not to mention that, generation after generation, when members of the Uchiha Clan fought other nations and other shinobi clans, would they not copy their ninjutsu and preserve them as part of the clan's foundation?

All of that had originally been inherited knowledge guarded by the Uchiha elder.

It was also the Uchiha Clan's most precious wealth.

He had to take it back!

Just as Uchiha Feng was immersed in his memories, Yajirobe interrupted him with a question.

"Can we roast them and eat them?" Yajirobe's tiny eyes stared intently at Uchiha Feng, hoping for his permission.

"What? No. At least not until you have your own body." Uchiha Feng refused without hesitation. Many ninja cats in the Ninja Cat Clan were humanoid creatures, and Uchiha Feng simply could not get past that.

He could barely accept Yajirobe eating those ugly contracted beasts, like Jiraiya's contracted beast Gamabunta.

But if he ended up eating the Three Snake Princesses of Ryuchi Cave, then even if they were ninja beasts capable of transforming into humans, he would not be able to accept it.

Seeing Yajirobe's disappointed expression, Uchiha Feng added, "You can hunt them first and store them away. You'll get your own body soon enough. Once that happens, eat whatever you want, as long as you don't eat me!" His final words carried a hint of irritation.

"Um..." Dumpling floated in midair, the index fingers of his little hands continually tapping together as though he were struggling with something.

Uchiha Feng was a little surprised to see Dumpling like this.

Dumpling was his first card and had always been the card he handled most smoothly. Did something happen now?

Uchiha Feng gave Dumpling an inquisitive look.

"Can I choose not to have a body? I want to be with Tien."

Dumpling finally voiced his request.

Uchiha Feng recalled something. These card characters really did have minds of their own, but they were absolutely loyal to him, loyal enough to override even their own consciousness.

"Of course. All the soul points you hunt will be used to draw cards until you draw Tien."

Uchiha Feng was delighted. Another volunteer worker.

"Don't act together with Yajirobe. The two of us are enough for the Ninja Cat Clan. Go say hello to those people in Konoha!"

Only picking on the weak was not Uchiha Feng's style.

Those old men in Konoha who held themselves above everyone else were his greatest enemies.

And he could not let Uchiha Itachi and Uchiha Sasuke, who had betrayed the clan, have it so easy either. He still wanted to revive the clansmen sealed within his scrolls!
