Background

After taking human form, Na'er wandered near Aolai City with no knowledge of her origin or destination. Drawn by a familiar aura, she came to believe that the person she sought was her family; that aura belonged to Jiang Yan. Di Tian, unable to locate the transformed Silver Dragon King, searched for her from the Star Dou Great Forest. 4

Na'er repeatedly arrived too late to find Jiang Yan, leaving her exhausted and lost in Aolai City. While alone, she was targeted by thugs intending to abduct and sell her. Jiang Yan intervened, froze or threw back the attackers with his elemental power, and reported them to the authorities. 10 12

The moment she saw Jiang Yan, Na'er recognized him as the family she had been searching for. Jiang Yan accepted her as his younger sister and brought her into his household, where Jiang Luochuan and Jiang Lingli also agreed to care for her. 12 13

After relocating to East Sea City, Na'er studied in East Sea Academy's regular academic class because she had not awakened a Martial Soul. Over the next three years, she grew increasingly worried that her identity and the beast clan's demands might separate her from Jiang Yan. 16 24

When Di Tian finally found her and ordered her to return to the Star Dou Great Forest, Na'er refused. She affirmed that being the Silver Dragon King did not require abandoning the Jiang family or Jiang Yan, independently awakened her bloodline, and reclaimed her true name, Gu Yuena. 26
