History

Flender takes particular pride in Shrek’s exceptionally talented students and wants to keep them at the academy. Its battle team’s results at the Suoto Grand Fighting Arena attract attention from nobles and great clans, prompting Grandmaster to conceal the young competitors’ identities so they can concentrate on cultivation 252 389 390.

After former student Qin Ming brings his Imperial Dou Team against Shrek, Grandmaster proposes an exchange with Heaven Dou Royal Academy. Shrek would use its cultivation facilities and compete in the Soul Master Tournament under its name. Flender fears the Royal Academy might keep his students, but agrees after several promise to remain loyal. The Royal Academy approves the visit; after Shrek arrives, Xue Xing drives the group out, and Flender’s party decides to join Blue Tyrant Academy instead 393 403 405 432 441.

Shrek later competes under its own name in the Soul Master Tournament, rising from an unfamiliar team to first place in the Heaven Dou division’s Promotion Tournament. Its success draws Spirit Hall’s attention, while defeated academies mock and pressure the group during its journey to the Grand Finals 649 650 655.

Later Years

A public scandal involving Dai Mubai and Zhu Zhuyun damages the reputation Grandmaster had hoped to build through a tournament victory 771. When Tang San returns years later, he finds Shrek quieter and its student body smaller than before. By the Shrek Four Monsters’ subsequent return, the scandal appears to have faded from public memory and enrollment has increased again 803 804 840.
