The wooden door was thrown open, and Filch limped inside, then began searching the room for a quill and parchment.

Standing in the doorway, Wade reached out to steady the doorframe and pushed open the wooden door that was about to close, then glanced around Filch's office.

It was not his first time here. The cramped room was still as dim and crowded as before, but it was fairly clean; there was not even a cobweb to be seen in the corners.

Wade had only been looking around casually, but suddenly, his gaze sharpened slightly.

Sticking out from the side of a drawer that had not been fully closed was a filthy red object, shaped somewhat like a curved blade. It looked as though it had been crushed with great force, its shell severely deformed.

Wade knew that it was one of the Cleaning Crab's legs.

As he observed it, the wooden door beside him quietly swung shut again, finally closing with a click.

And beside Wade, a pair of faint footprints had appeared.

At that moment, Filch seemed to have finally found what he was looking for. He slapped the parchment onto the desk, gave Wade a malicious look, and said:

"Let me think. What should I punish you with... How about scrubbing the corridors without magic? Or cleaning the toilets? I think that ought to teach you a profound lesson..."

Filch glanced at the half-open drawer, strode over, yanked it open with a clatter, then slammed it shut again!
