After all, judging by the previous contests, he was not much stronger than the other competitors... though the courage to provoke the Dark Lord to his face was indeed extremely rare.
But in the Death Eaters' eyes, that was no great power. On the contrary, it was the most foolish thing about the boy.

Several times, Harry wanted to seize the chance to launch a surprise attack. But the eyes fixed on him from all around, along with Voldemort's scarlet stare, made him understand that he could not act rashly now. The longer he stalled, the better.
So he kept his lips tightly sealed and said nothing, only checking on Wade's condition from time to time.
In a corner no one had noticed, Clementine, lying on the ground, suddenly twitched a finger and let out a faint groan.
Behind a shattered window of the Church, an eye glowing green suddenly appeared.
