Three Horcruxes?

Slughorn slumped in a pool of blood, utterly unaware of the terrible secret he had just revealed.

Once Voldemort stopped controlling him with magic, he did not regain his senses. Instead, he suddenly grinned, his expression dazed.

"Tom, you clever little thing, you know more than half the teachers. You'll definitely become Minister for Magic..."

"Oh, Lestrange, in all my years, I've never seen such strange Potion work... An essay, five feet! You earned this assignment yourself!"

"Very good... very good... Lily, this Potion is flawless. Five points to Gryffindor..."

He mumbled indistinctly, a flushed, contented smile appearing on his gaunt face, as though he had returned to a classroom filled with the scent of Potions, with nothing before him but a group of innocent, lovable students.

"Let's go, Wade."

Dumbledore's voice suddenly sounded beside Wade's ear. "It's time for us to leave."

He seized Wade's arm, and the two of them seemed to rise slowly. Everything around them faded away—Voldemort's face, Slughorn's foolish smile—swallowed by mist in an instant.

When Wade came back to himself, he was once again standing in the office. Dumbledore paced over to the window, his face seemingly covered in a layer of frost.

Wade's voice stalled for a moment. Looking at the Headmaster's profile reflected in the black glass, he suddenly felt that interrupting him now would be rather heartless.

What they had just witnessed was, to Wade, the process by which Voldemort obtained vital intelligence. But to Dumbledore, it was an old friend suffering unimaginable torment.

Wade hesitated over whether he should end the conversation and give Dumbledore some space to collect himself. They could continue their discussion after they had both calmed down.
