As Wade was drawn into Grindelwald’s campaign, Mabel and Wade’s allies began searching for him, and the arc ended with Wade accompanying the Acolytes into a Muggle facility engulfed in blue flames.

• Wade and Michael explored Zone V, where Wade tested his Golems against Michael, and Wade invited Michael and Harry to spend Christmas with his family.
• Dementors attacked the Hogwarts train, and Wade and Professor Abigail drove them away with their Patronuses before the students reached London.
• Wade celebrated Christmas with Harry and Michael, while Mabel hid with Ryan Trocar, Garr, and Lockhart after escaped prisoners returned to Britain.
• Grindelwald abducted Wade at a supermarket, shrank him, and later restored him before demanding that he build a device to control Streaming Mirrors.

Wade was caught up in Grindelwald’s campaign against the organization, then escaped during the battle at Adler Manor and returned to his family and Hogwarts. He reunited with Mabel and the Golems, hired Dobby, and resumed classes as a new danger emerged in the Boggart lesson.

• Grindelwald led Wade through the laboratory’s human experiments and attacked Muggle sites, while Wade challenged his belief that Muggles as a whole were enemies.
• Wade discovered that the Acolytes’ Gold Powder caused hibernation through Time Magic, and Grindelwald ordered him to make bells for an upcoming operation.
• Dobby searched for Wade with help from Ferdinand, who identified John Adler’s manor as a possible Acolyte target, while Donovan warned Dumbledore that the organization was preparing an ambush there.
• At Adler Manor, the Acolytes fought the organization’s forces, while Donovan, Dobby, and Mikey disabled machines that could suppress magic and Dumbledore confronted Grindelwald.
• Dumbledore found Wade unharmed and took him away, while the Acolytes destroyed the Manor and Sirius and Lupin ended their search after learning Wade was safe.

Wade uncovered Carlyle’s betrayal and the plot to kidnap him, then helped bring Carlyle’s story to a tragic end. As the school year closed, Wade and Dumbledore identified Barty Crouch Jr. in Wade’s vision and realized Voldemort’s powerful charm had been making people forget him.

• Wade rescued Morris Holden from Acromantulas and reunited him with his father, Lucas, while learning that Vampires were negotiating with the forest’s creatures.
• Carlyle helped Byrd and a group of Vampires capture Wade, but Wade’s Golem decoy and the Aurors exposed and arrested the kidnappers.
• Carlyle escaped Hogwarts with Hermione’s Time-Turner and died after going back in time to save his mother, leaving Wade a letter explaining his choice.
• Wade helped arrange a home for Carlyle’s mother, while Hermione surrendered her Time-Turner and Wade accepted a research Golem commission from Bode.
• Barty Crouch Jr. offered the Dementors happy memories and a place with Voldemort, while Harry told Wade about Trelawney’s prophecy of the Dark Lord’s return.
• Wade recognized Barty Crouch Jr. in a newspaper but repeatedly forgot to warn Dumbledore until Luna helped him deliver it.

Wade helped Mabel leave the Obscurus behind, warned Locke and Rubik to disrupt Voldemort’s resurrection, and accepted Nicolas Flamel’s alchemical collection and responsibilities. The arc ended with Wade joining Harry and Sirius at the Quidditch World Cup campsite.
