After Chen Hui-chieh finished breakfast, Bai Ye brought over two cups of tea, brewed with the flower-tea bags Podenco and Lena had given him.
"Mooch a meal? Of course not!" Chen Hui-chieh's eyes widened, and she instinctively denied it. Only then did she realize that she still hadn't gotten around to the real reason she'd come.
"Ahem, Bai Ye, I want to recommend a friend to join Rhodes Island. How should I go about it?" Chen Hui-chieh took a sip of tea, trying to forget the taste of the stir-fried noodles, then got down to business.
"Recommend a friend to join Rhodes Island? For something like that, wouldn't Human Resources be the best place to ask?"
Bai Ye sat down at the table with his tea.
"I've seen you bring people back to Rhodes Island so often, so I figured you might have some experience," Chen Hui-chieh said, scratching her head.
