To figure out what the new version of God Slayer Magic required, he first had to understand the principles behind Slayer-type Magic.
Slayer-type Magic had two defining characteristics: a specific "concept" and specially structured "unique mana."
Magic fused both characteristics into a "core," allowing a mage to "devour" certain conceptual elements and carry out a series of operations within the "core," such as producing unique mana through restructuring.
Take Natsu's Fire Dragon Slayer Magic as an example. The "Dragon Seed" within Natsu was that very "core." It could contain the element of "fire," fuse mana with the element inside, and restructure it into Dragon Power.
In other words, for Slayer-type Magic, the "seed" was not necessary. The "core" was essential.
Thus, the new version of God Slayer Magic simulated a "conceptual core" without God Power inside the mage's body, replacing the "God Seed."
The cost was that mages who mastered this new version of God Slayer Magic could not attach God Power because they lacked a "God Seed," nor could they gain the body-enhancing effects Dragon Slayer Magic achieved through Dragon Power.
However, they still gained the ability to devour a certain concept and restructure it into unique Slayer-type attribute mana.
Other than being unable to strengthen the body, this magic did not have many drawbacks. If he had to name one, it was extremely difficult to learn.
The difficulty of [Modified God Slayer Magic] lay in creating a core within the body that could store a specific element, then engraving restructuring formulas within that core.
Ordinary people found it difficult to create a new "organ" inside their bodies. It was no wonder hardly anyone had mastered this magic in centuries. Zancrow of Grimoire Heart had some real skill.
However... Aibo had no learning bottlenecks.
