Erza stiffened. She wanted to explain that Ailu was actually a cat, but this hardly seemed like the right time-

Erza let out a breath and smiled in relief as she looked at her former companions. "No, I'm the one who should apologize. I never forgot any of you in these eight years, but I failed to do anything for you. I was too weak. I'm sorry."
