Background

Sakumo Hatake was one of the Leaf Village's most feared shinobi during the Second and Third Shinobi World Wars, alongside Minato Namikaze and Shisui Uchiha. His battlefield reputation earned him the name “White Fang of the Leaf.” 5

During the Second Shinobi World War, Sakumo killed Sasori's parents, who were members of a Sunagakure ninja squad. The loss became the foundation of Sasori's later hostility toward Sakumo's son, Kakashi. 73 74
