A strange sea beast with a shark's head and an octopus's body suddenly leaped out of the deep sea not far away. Its octopus-like lower body writhed continuously as it charged toward Taylor.
Looking at the sea beast's shark-like head and the sharp triangular teeth in its mouth, then at its constantly writhing octopus body crawling forward in such an unusual posture, Taylor became intensely interested in this strangely formed creature.
After all, the combination of a shark and an octopus looked bizarre no matter how he viewed it.
