Taylor was a college student from Earth who transmigrated into the body of a young boy in a wizarding world. After suppressing his confusion and accepting his circumstances, he resolved to pursue wizardry, knowledge, truth, power, and a longer life rather than dwell on his displacement 1.

He entered the White Tower Alliance as an apprentice. While other children regarded him as gloomy and uninteresting, Mendes recognized Taylor’s ambition for truth and knowledge as the temperament of a natural wizard seed 1.
