Anglie nodded and handed over another Magic Stone. "Please give me a box."

The shopkeeper handed over a black wooden box. Anglie hurriedly took it.

"Boss, I want a box too." The male apprentice standing nearby spoke as well. He had blond hair and slightly small eyes. He was neither handsome nor ugly, just the sort of face with no real presence. He looked about twenty.

"Failed again?" The shopkeeper glanced at him and handed over a wooden box first. "I'd advise you to stop practicing. Without a teacher's guidance, no matter how long you practice, you'll only be wasting money."

The blond man smiled but said nothing. He merely handed over a black Magic Stone, took the box, turned, and quickly left. Only then did the female apprentice behind him step up to buy something.

Anglie glanced at the blond man's retreating back but paid it no mind. Carrying the entire set of apparatus and a box, he headed straight back to his room.

The academy had many departments, but each had few people. With only several hundred apprentices in total, each department had merely ten or twenty people on average. Spread throughout an underground academy as vast as a city, Anglie could not possibly know many apprentices. Aside from the apprentices he attended classes with, he had never even seen most of the others.

Even Adaro, who had guided him around at the beginning, was now rarely seen. He had heard that the Third-level Apprentices were studying in other areas.

He had only just returned to his room with the apparatus and box when the door was knocked on with a thud.

"Anglie, are you in there?" Anjie's voice came from outside.

"I am." Anglie walked over and opened the door.
