More than two hours later, the Chip's simulation was finally complete.
Anglie stood before the desk again, measuring out the materials in the box according to the proportions simulated by the Chip and placing them into a beaker. Then he lit the grease heater.
The heater was like the solid alcohol lamps used on Earth. A pale block of grease sat inside a glass bottle, with a lit wick above it. Its faintly blue flame was far hotter than an ordinary oil lamp.
Anglie added some water to the large beaker, submerging the medicinal ingredients inside. Only then did he cover it with a glass lid.
About two minutes later, the water in the large beaker came to a full boil, bubbling violently.
The blood oranges and red grass roots gradually changed color. The boiling water had turned pale blue, and streams of vapor sprayed from the edges of the lid. A faint sour smell filled the room.
Anglie watched the beaker silently, occasionally glancing at the crystal clock beside it. His expression did not change in the slightest.
The only sound in the room was the hiss of boiling water in the beaker.
More than ten minutes passed.
Anglie reached out, grabbed a wad of cotton, and used it to lift off the glass lid. Thick white vapor immediately rushed into his face.
He stared at the liquid in the beaker, pale blue fluorescence flowing through his eyes.
The beaker in his vision had completely transformed into a three-dimensional blue 3D model, constantly rotating before his eyes.
Lines of tiny data continuously shifted beside the beaker, displaying all kinds of information: temperature, changes in medicinal properties, ingredient activity, elemental mutation coefficients, and more.
Anglie fixed his gaze on the beaker without moving.
Suddenly, he flicked a finger. A point
