"Grovyle, use Leaf Blade!"

Just as Grovyle swung its Leaf Blade toward Onix, Valerie suddenly gave Onix an order.

"Onix, use Take Down!"

The Onix lying on the ground suddenly raised its head, charged forward, and slammed its sturdy head into the unprepared Grovyle.

Grovyle was knocked back on the spot by the Take Down, but it managed to steady itself in midair, flipped over, and landed safely.

"Are you okay, Grovyle?" Gary hurriedly asked as he watched Grovyle get hit.

Fortunately, Grovyle shook its head to show that it was fine, finally putting Gary at ease.

"I got played," Gary said as he looked up at Valerie across from him.

"Don't underestimate me, Gary!" Valerie laughed brightly.

"Of course not." Gary grinned, then turned his gaze to Grovyle. "Grovyle, let's begin the next round!"

Grovyle nodded heavily, then fixed Onix across from it with a fierce glare.

"Onix, use Rock Slide!" Valerie gave the order first.

Chunks of rock gathered around Onix, then, under its control, flew one after another toward Grovyle.

"Grovyle, Quick Attack!"

Facing the rocks rushing in like a rain of swords, Grovyle began to glow faintly before charging toward Onix with lightning speed.

Although it faced Onix's barrage of rocks along the way, Grovyle still weaved through them with agile movements, dodging one rock after another.

"Onix, use Iron Tail!" Seeing Grovyle steadily closing in, Valerie immediately shouted.

Having received the command, Onix swung its tail, now gleaming with white light, and viciously lashed it at Grovyle in front of it.

"Grovyle, Double Team!"

Faced with the sudden attack, Grovyle abruptly shook its body. Soon, more than a dozen Grovyle appeared across the field.
