"That's about everything. We can go."
Once they had packed their luggage, the two of them put it into the Wooden Door.
Their destination was Amegakure.
Xuanhui had heard that Kisame had returned to their base in Amegakure, and that Jiraiya had followed him there.
Nearly everyone in the Akatsuki was there now, apart from Orochimaru and Obito at Madara's base, and the still-inexperienced Deidara.
Pakura opened an umbrella and nestled close to Xuanhui.
"Are we staying in Amegakure this time?"
"For a couple of days. What I need to do isn't difficult, so we can spend most of the time on dates."
"Okay."
On their last visit, they had only met Sasori and hadn't gone to see anyone else.
This time, it wasn't raining in the forest outside. White Zetsu told Nagato that Xuanhui and Pakura had arrived.
"Leave them to me."
"Can you handle them?"
"I can still handle small fry like them."
"As long as you're confident."
White Zetsu wriggled down into the ground. He had no interest in the noisy market, since there was far too much to keep an eye on.
"Back again?"
Nagato sighed and returned to his work.
Upon entering Amegakure, they submitted their entry documents.
The two of them strolled along the misty, rain-scented streets, feeling utterly at ease.
The cool air brushing against them brought a faint touch of melancholy.
"I think we've already explored this area."
"Why don't we find a hotel first?"
After Amegakure began developing its commerce, many hotels had sprung up throughout the village.
Because of the limited space, most of Amegakure's buildings were high-rises.
Too many people wanted to settle there, and there simply wasn't room. Yahiko could only change the policies, indirectly encouraging the tourism and lodging industries to develop.
