Background / History

Bai Ye was born into the Uchiha Clan. His parents died on a border reconnaissance mission in Konoha Year 30, when he was three years old. His father’s scratched wooden practice sword became his sole keepsake and the basis of his solitary training. A distant aunt took him in after the war, providing for him but remaining emotionally distant. 1

At five, Bai Ye defended the wooden sword from Uchiha Yan and two other children. He disarmed Yan and struck all three opponents at precise weak points without seriously injuring them. Hatake Sakumo witnessed his aptitude, offered to teach him swordsmanship, and became his mentor. 1 2 3
