Background / History

Xue Ying was born into the Snake People Tribe. Her ordinary, non-cultivating parents were captured by humans during an outing and never returned. She herself was later captured by mercenaries and brought to the Imperial Capital as a prisoner. 50 135

Yao Feng encountered her after her capture, bought her clothes, rented her a room, and promised to return her to the Snake People Tribe. Initially fearful and wary, she accepted his protection because leaving alone would likely result in her being captured again. 50

Although she had never cultivated, Xue Ying possessed naturally open meridians and had unconsciously accumulated Dou Qi. Under Yao Feng's support, she began cultivating with Spirit Nurturing Pills and Foundation Establishment Spirit Liquid. 50 61 80 94

Yao Feng later gave her an Essence Pearl after noticing its apparent connection to her. Refining it awakened her bloodline, dramatically raised her cultivation, and implanted the Creation Saint Art in her mind. 96 105 111
