Chapters 380–392 Vol. 4 Read

Ch. 380The Collapse of Reincarnation's Order

Li Shun accelerated reincarnation to plunge the Disorderly Reincarnation World into chaos as he raced to grow strong enough to confront its Heavenly Dao. The world’s inhabitants began slaughtering one another and stealing divine radiance, causing the reincarnation cycle to collapse, though Li Shun did not know what had triggered the thefts.

  • Li Shun continued probing his soul’s ancient reincarnations while his avatars hunted, and he increased the volunteers helping him withstand the memory tsunami.
  • Li Shun realized the Reincarnation World’s Heavenly Dao was secretly hunting living beings faster than his avatars and decided he could no longer wait.
  • Li Shun forcibly reincarnated sleeping dead ahead of schedule, disrupting the world and causing the newly reborn to be overwhelmed by memories and madness.
  • Li Shun’s avatar witnessed someone steal divine radiance through slaughter, permanently extinguishing the victim and leaving Li Shun baffled about who had caused the change.
  • The Reincarnation World’s Heavenly Dao blamed Li Shun as the slaughter and theft of divine radiance began to collapse the cycle of reincarnation.

Ch. 381The Progenitor of All Life

Li Shun traced a soul back to the primordial origin of life in Chaos and discovered the Radiant Origin Embryo, an ancient Outer God that had become the ancestor of all living beings. He realized that the embryo was an opportunity greater than the blank divine embryo, while questioning where his own original consciousness came from.

  • Li Shun abandoned his pretense and had his avatars devour every available source of divine radiance as the Reincarnation World approached collapse.
  • The underground volunteers witnessed disloyal people get devoured and chose to help Li Shun endure the memory tsunami, hoping he would become a New God.
  • After three months of tracing the soul backward, Li Shun reached a primordial darkness and found a sleeping infant called the Radiant Origin Embryo.
  • Li Shun learned that the Radiant Origin Embryo had released its power to become the ancestors of all life in Chaos, but realized his own original consciousness did not belong to its descendants.
  • Li Shun deliberately curled into the embryo's posture, grasped the thought that the Dao resembled him, and recognized the Radiant Origin Embryo as an opportunity greater than the blank divine embryo.

Ch. 382Moth-Borers Arise in Nine Orders

Li Shun learned that the Radiant Origin Embryo sought to be reborn through all living beings, then suffered an attack by chaos corruption called Veiled Gloom. The Ancient Web warned him that imitating the embryo could grant him the ability to become any creature, but might ultimately let the embryo take control of him and Square Inch Space.

  • Li Shun realized that the Radiant Origin Embryo intended to escape death by being reborn from among the living beings it created.
  • Shadows crept into Li Shun's vision and tried to burrow into his consciousness, but he used Square Inch's power to expel them.
  • The Ancient Web identified the shadows as Veiled Gloom, the lowest rank among the Nine Orders of Moth-Borers, and explained that stronger forms of chaos corruption existed.
  • The Ancient Web explained that imitating the Radiant Origin Embryo could let Li Shun transform completely into any living creature and inherit its innate abilities.
  • The Ancient Web warned that if Li Shun failed to preserve his awareness, the Radiant Origin Embryo could take over him and Square Inch Space.

Ch. 383All gods gave way

Li Shun rejected the Ancient Web’s warning that he could not control an awakened Outer God and proposed using the remnants of two gods in one body to create a conflict he could exploit. He declared that Square Inch’s power depended on his conviction that he was its invincible master, and his words triggered a tremendous upheaval across Square Inch Mountains.

  • The Ancient Web warned Li Shun that even a Sage could not safely control [Radiant Origin Embryo] and said only someone who could withstand the [Nine Orders of Moth-Borers] could subdue an Outer God.
  • Li Shun proposed making [Zhaoming Tuixiu]’s Blank Body into a puppet and fashioning [Radiant Origin Embryo]’s true body from it, hoping the two gods would clash.
  • The Ancient Web agreed that the gods’ rivalry might benefit Li Shun, but warned that they could join forces and seize Square Inch.
  • Li Shun pressed the Ancient Web to aid him, arguing that it too would lose its place if another Outer God took Square Inch.
  • Li Shun declared that the Ancient Web did not understand Square Inch, called it his heart, and proclaimed that all gods would submit to him there.
  • A tremendous upheaval erupted throughout Square Inch Mountains as Li Shun’s declaration resounded.

Ch. 384The Stations of the Stars and Constellations

Li Shun’s enlightenment transformed Square Inch, separating Square Inch Mountain and beginning a change that Ancient Web recognized as the gestation of a divine descent voice. Li Shun and Ancient Web prepared to counter the gods and returned to the Disorderly Reincarnation World, where Ancient Web discovered that the Blank Divine Body had awakened and caused the chaos.

  • Square Inch Mountain rose into the clouds and vanished from ordinary sight as Square Inch underwent a sudden transformation.
  • Ancient Web’s peak rose toward Square Inch Mountain, and he realized the changes were gestating a divine descent voice that might let him regain godhood.
  • Ancient Web agreed to counterbalance [Radiant Origin Embryo] and [Zhaoming Tuixiu] by joining them in a shared body and sealing away his memories of Li Shun.
  • Li Shun tested whether he could bring an imagined flower into the Great Qian World, but it shattered as soon as it arrived.
  • Li Shun accompanied Ancient Web to the Disorderly Reincarnation World, where Ancient Web identified the awakened Blank Divine Body as the cause of the world’s chaos.

Ch. 385Imprisoned upon merging with the Dao

Li Shun consolidated his clones, gathered divine radiance, and merged with the Disorderly Reincarnation World to find a way past its cultivation limit. The rings of reincarnation trapped and dismembered him, and a voice from the darkness began devouring his soul.

  • The Ancient Web explained that a new awareness had emerged within the Blank Divine Body and advised Li Shun to consolidate his clones and transfer the divine radiance.
  • Li Shun retained four clones above level 90, moved his core consciousness and accumulated radiance into his level 99 clone, and sealed the transformed Radiant Origin Embryo body underground.
  • Li Shun realized that the Reincarnation World's cultivation limit was an artificial barrier and began harvesting the divine radiance of living beings with three powerful clones.
  • As the radiance gathered within him, Li Shun merged with the Disorderly Reincarnation World and saw the rings of reincarnation holding vast reserves of sleeping beings.
  • A voice from beyond the rings mocked Li Shun and dragged him in; the rings sliced his soul apart as the voice began chewing and called him delicious.

Ch. 386Imitating Chaos's Transformation

Li Shun survived the loss of his original body by relying on his remaining clones, then met with Ancient Web to reconsider the Disorderly Reincarnation World's hidden purpose. They concluded that [Zhaoming Tuixiu] may have used disorderly reincarnation to try to change a deity's name and create a New God, but the attempt's outcome remained unclear.

  • After the original body bearing Divine Radiance vanished, Li Shun's three remaining clones stopped hunting and concealed themselves, while the sealed Radiant Origin Embryo woke.
  • Li Shun broke through the seal, reinforced his underground hollow, and told Ancient Web that his attempt to contend with heaven had been a trap.
  • Ancient Web reconsidered the Disorderly Reincarnation World's concealment, explaining that it hid the world from Outer Gods but not from his diminished imprint.
  • Li Shun and Ancient Web reconsidered [Zhaoming Tuixiu]'s blessings and the claim that the world had been created to choose a [New God].
  • Ancient Web explained that Divine Radiance fragments could recreate [Zhaoming Tuixiu]'s Blank Body, but a true New God would require changing a deity's name and authority.

Ch. 387Using Himself as Bait

Li Shun and the Ancient Web identified the scar-faced man who once devoured Li Shun as the hidden New God being nurtured in the Reincarnation World. They planned to expose him to Chaos, while Li Shun’s three clones gathered divine radiance and prepared to merge with Heaven and Earth again.

  • Li Shun recalled that the scar-faced man who had eaten his flesh was the same being heard outside the Disorderly Reincarnation World, and the Ancient Web concluded he had learned Li Shun’s secrets before faking his death.
  • The Ancient Web told Li Shun that the incomplete New God was vulnerable and could be attacked by Chaos if exposed before awakening; Li Shun agreed to try its plan and draw in the [Nine Orders of Moth-Borers].
  • Li Shun’s three remaining clones resumed hunting outside the Disorderly Reincarnation World, devouring living beings and keeping their gathered divine radiance separate.
  • Powerful beings pursued the clones, but Li Shun used their escape and concealment abilities to flee while continuing to hunt.
  • The three clones reached the limit of their divine radiance and felt they were about to merge with Heaven and Earth again as they recalled the Ancient Web’s knowledge of Chaos.

Ch. 388Heaven-Weaving Dao Pattern

Li Shun’s three clones endured the second-order Chaos minions, Jagged Teeth, and drew the Chaos invasion toward the Taboo-Breaking New God. As the Reincarnation Rings faltered and the Disorderly Reincarnation World filled with newly awakened prey, Li Shun began rapidly building his strength while the Ancient Web wove a Heaven-Weaving Dao Pattern onto him.

  • Li Shun’s three clones embraced Chaos until Jagged Teeth gnawed through their bodies, then the Reincarnation Rings bound and sliced them apart.
  • Chaos corroded the Reincarnation Rings before they recovered, while the diverted minions pursued the Taboo-Breaking New God and Li Shun regained consciousness under Square Inch’s protection.
  • The Disorderly Reincarnation World’s rules became tangled, and countless sleeping beings spilled from the sky into the world.
  • Li Shun attracted the falling beings, hunted them, and turned them into clones, rapidly raising his clones’ levels.
  • The Ancient Web urged Li Shun to gather nine clones above the Ninetieth Level and seek the Blank Body in the ruined city, while weaving the tangled heavenly threads into patterns on Li Shun.

Ch. 389Entering the Divine Body

Li Shun used the Weaving Heavenly Dao Pattern to seize the Reincarnation World's power, then went to the Blank Divine Body with nine max-level doppelgangers. He entered the cloud inside it and offered himself to the spirits, leaving the struggle for the divine body unresolved.

  • The Ancient Web explained that the Weaving Heavenly Dao Pattern let Li Shun borrow the world's essence, and continued engraving it as Li Shun grew powerful enough to remove his doppelgangers' cultivation bottlenecks.
  • Li Shun gathered nine max-level doppelgangers and flew with them to the ruins containing the Blank Divine Body as the world's chaos began to subside.
  • Li Shun found the cloud devouring the bodies of twenty-eight figures, including the white-haired elder and Goatee, and the Ancient Web explained that the divine body's self-awareness was making a final stand.
  • The Ancient Web told Li Shun to feed the nine doppelgangers to the cloud, and their consumption let his consciousness merge with the Blank Divine Body.
  • Li Shun nearly succumbed to the cloud's cries of “Father God,” but a perfect newcomer entered and drew the spirits' desire away from their faith.
  • Manifesting as [Embryo?? Primordial Fetus], Li Shun smiled at the spirits and invited them to eat him.

Ch. 390The Three Condensed a Divine Body

Li Shun devoured the spirits in the darkness while holding the form of [Embryo??Primordial Fetus], then endured the Blank Divine Body’s starlight as the mist transformed and condensed into a divine body resembling him. The chapter ended with Li Shun hearing [Throughout the Ages] and another will arguing in his mind as the voices of Outer Gods stirred Chaos around him.

  • Li Shun used the allure of [Embryo??Primordial Fetus] to draw the spirits near and devour them, despite sensing a vast will watching from the darkness.
  • The Ancient Web warned Li Shun that losing consciousness could erase his identity and let [Embryo??Primordial Fetus] revive through him.
  • The Blank Divine Body’s will filled the abyss with starlight that pierced Li Shun, while he embraced the pain and resisted falling asleep.
  • The mist shifted among visions of an infant, a starry sky, and an enormous web before merging and condensing into a flawless, human-sized divine body resembling Li Shun.
  • Li Shun heard [Throughout the Ages] and another will argue in his mind, while their voices and the infant’s sounds stirred ripples in Chaos.

Ch. 391Dark Stars and Remnant Gods Clash

Li Shun tested the Blank Divine Body's powers while seeking outside strength to turn it into a Square Inch Puppet. His confrontation with the Taboo-Breaking New God escalated as an invisible web secretly collected the battle's fluctuations.

  • Li Shun failed to take the Blank Divine Body as a Square Inch Puppet because the three gods within it made it too heavy to subdue.
  • Li Shun manifested stars above the Disorderly Reincarnation World and used their light to observe the realm and incinerate several cultivators.
  • The Taboo-Breaking New God enveloped the stars in darkness and manifested a composite Reincarnation Ring that froze the world except for the Blank Body.
  • The Taboo-Breaking New God's gaze threatened to tear Li Shun's body and divine soul apart, while an infant's cries briefly reduced the pressure.
  • Li Shun sent the stars into the darkness beyond the sky, triggering explosions as an enormous invisible web secretly gathered the battle's ripples and fluctuations.

Ch. 392The World Split, a Thousand Puppets Appeared

Li Shun used the [Radiant Origin Embryo] to harvest lives and destabilize the Disorderly Reincarnation World, then fought off a giant hand with the powers of his divine body. As hundreds of hands surrounded him, he realized they were puppets made from beings the Taboo-Breaking New God had devoured, and that his apparent victory had harmed only a puppet.

  • Li Shun let the [Radiant Origin Embryo] appear, drawing the Reincarnation World's inhabitants into a deadly obsession that turned their deaths into blue light absorbed by the embryo.
  • The mass deaths overwhelmed the Reincarnation Ring, causing the world to crack and collapse as Li Shun watched without remorse.
  • The Taboo-Breaking New God sent a giant hand through the Reincarnation Ring, shattering the world into fragments and reaching for Li Shun.
  • Li Shun slowed the hand with his starlight body and erased its fingers and flesh with his breath, leaving only half a palm's bones.
  • Hundreds of Pale Giant Hands descended and stabilized the Reincarnation World, and Li Shun realized they were puppets formed from the New God's sustenance.
