Next was Withered Bone Abbey. They rode atop a gigantic skull, black smoke billowing from its eye sockets, which seemed to be faintly yet intently watching the Five Viscera Temple.
Counting them over, only Beauty Palace and Four Limbs Temple could barely be said to possess a trace of immortal air.
The former had also arrived upon clouds, but theirs were seven-colored auspicious clouds, like both cloud and rainbow. Their disciples either carried swords, held sabers, or raised flowers and fruits, their expressions solemn as though they were visitors descended from heaven.
The latter had been borne here atop an enormous tortoise shell. The shell had two sides and only four legs, with neither head nor neck. It was clearly some exotic beast.
As for the Four Limbs Temple disciples upon it, regardless of gender or age, each was either naked as a sculpture or bare-chested in the pose of a flying celestial. Golden light coiled around every one of them, their appearance solemn and majestic.
