Above Isata.

Charles stood atop the platform of a tower.

He gazed into the distance, his vision reaching incredibly far.

There lay a small town. Because it was close to Isata, the mortals here had much more contact with witchcraft, and they lived quite well.

Charles felt a faint sigh in his heart. Back then, I was already satisfied just to become a wizard.

But now that I've become a Sixth-Ring Wizard, it seems my troubles have only grown.

Great power truly is a double-edged sword.

Perhaps I should have stopped cultivating after becoming a Fifth-Ring Wizard and simply enjoyed life. Maybe then I wouldn't have so many troubles.

But on second thought, Charles cast the notion from his mind.

With a laugh, he thought, Fifth-Ring Wizards have Fifth-Ring Wizards' troubles too.

The days passed one by one.

Charles instead found himself with plenty of free time in Isata.

During this time, he gave some instruction to his former students.

He had even considered visiting the Osela plane.

But in the end, he gave up on the idea.

He had grown too powerful; the Osela plane could no longer contain him.

On that plane, he recruited some wizards into it and summoned Molly and Erika back.

If Charles, as a Sixth-Ring Wizard, wished to enter that plane again, its gods would notice immediately, and then an intense war would erupt.

It might even destroy that plane altogether.

As his first plane, Charles still held some feelings for it.

So he decided to give that plane a good ending.

He would merely dispatch wizards to conquer it.

Within the Tree Sea, he even left the elves a final patch of pure land.
