Charles completed the Outpost Base’s Teleportation Beacon, defeated the Bone Anchor Pirate Crew, and activated the beacon despite the plane’s hostility. After a sea beast and a Merman army attacked, Blood Ring reinforcements arrived through the portal, and Loran asked Charles to return and report on the plane.

• Charles used Demon Worm remains to help build the Outpost Base and its Teleportation Beacon while the Undertow Pirate Crew worked for rewards and advancement.
• Marcus and Isabella led the Bone Anchor Pirate Crew to seize Charles, but Charles and his forces killed both leaders and made the survivors surrender.
• Charles captured the Bone Anchor ships, put prisoners to work, and activated Anderson’s beacon core after construction resumed.
• Anderson sent Loran to check the foreign plane and bring Charles back, while the beacon’s activation drew the attention of powerful beings across the plane.
• A colossal sea beast battered the island with tsunamis, destroying the harbor fleet but leaving the Outpost Base largely spared.
• A Merman army attacked the Outpost Base to destroy the Beacon, while Charles armed prisoners and used demons and Bone Needle Bees to defend the walls.
• The Beacon opened a portal, and Blood Ring Knights emerged to rout the Mermen before Loran arrived with wizards and began preparing a larger portal.
• Loran told Charles that Anderson had sent the guards as soon as the beacon activated, then asked Charles to return and report on the plane.

Charles helped Anderson establish a foothold in the plane, built up the Undertow Pirate Crew, and advanced to become a second-ring wizard. After returning to the battlefield, he led the conquest of Leland County, whose navy surrendered.

• Charles tested the portal, presented his intelligence about the plane to Anderson and Aiden, and helped them plan to build local forces and use piracy as cover.
• Anderson enslaved Keith, seized the Bloodsail Raiders’ treasury, and helped develop the Outpost Base and pirate forces into a growing army.
• Charles returned to Isata, where Scorchflame advanced to Tier One and Charles completed his Succubus Bloodline and became a second-ring wizard.
• Charles found Molly, brought her home to live with Erika, and later left them equipped for their studies while he returned to the plane battlefield.
• Anderson assigned Charles a conquest and a squad of Blood Ring Knights, and Charles reunited with Bruce’s expanded Undertow Pirate Crew before targeting Leland County.
• Charles’s forces seized Leland County’s harbor defenses and docked warships, then broke through the shore wall and routed the defenders.
• Charles and the Blood Ring Knights defeated Leland County’s Tide Warriors and soldiers, and the navy surrendered after Qiu Qi urged them to lay down their weapons.

Charles conquered Leland County, then returned to Isata to study planar portals while building an alliance with Yvenjieling. He joined Sage Webster’s expedition into a strange Outer Plane.

• Charles recruited prisoners, captured a baron’s castle, and defeated the nobles who tried to stop his march toward Leland County.
• Charles defeated King Leilan’s army, killed the king, imprisoned the royal family, and seized Leland County’s castles and wealth.
• Charles answered Yvenjieling’s summons, promised to help avenge her village, and later secured her loyalty through an Abyss Contract.
• Charles helped Anderson and Aiden upgrade their portal, then returned to Isata and paid to study Planar Studies under Sage Webster.
• Charles completed Webster’s courses, passed his assessment, and continued studying advanced materials while Bruce became an Intermediate Demon.
• Webster invited Charles and his students on a planar expedition, and Charles accepted a tuition waiver in exchange for joining.
• Charles entered an Outer Plane with Webster’s group and learned that its strange surroundings had delayed properties.

Charles explored the Realm of Inverse Cause, claimed the Book of Causal Paths, and learned that obtaining the half-elf plane’s coordinates required a dangerous journey. After helping Yvenjieling survive a patrol attack, he took Molly, Erika, and Bruce into the Abyss and began hunting demons with Bruce.

• Charles explored Bansler’s strange wilderness and city, then discovered the Book of Fate’s account of how Alasta’s ritual erased the kingdom and transformed the plane.
• The Book of Causal Paths revealed that Bansler threatened to assimilate Charles and that his severed causal threads made him an anomaly, then joined his spiritual sea as the plane began to collapse.
• Charles escaped with the book and two treasures, while Sage Webster opened a portal to evacuate the wizards as a Causal Pathwalker Great Wizard attacked.
• Charles sent Molly and Erika into the Trial Plane, where both survived and became first-ring wizards, then met Yvenjieling’s elderly half-elf associate.
• When a half-elf patrol attacked Yvenjieling’s gathering, Charles’s projection fought the warriors, protected her escape, and killed the captain, though the gathering suffered devastating losses.
• The Book of Causal Paths absorbed the Fruit Core fragment and found a route to the half-elf plane’s coordinates through the Abyss, so Charles recruited Molly and Erika and traveled there with Bruce and Scorchflame to meet Delis.
• Charles and Bruce hunted Ripper Demons in a stone forest, killed two, and harvested their valuable remains.
• Charles used illusions, binding spells, and fire to ambush three demons, killing the Ape Demon and Four-Armed Serpent Demon while Bruce grievously wounded the Babau, then left the corpses behind as more demons converged.
