Led by the God-Sealing Dragon, Huo Ling once more arrived within Tiamat's enormous palace.
He slowly stepped into the palace. Though he was over three hundred meters long, he still appeared somewhat small within this colossal hall.
As Huo Ling entered, the immense Tiamat within the palace opened her eyes at the appropriate moment.
She stretched her even vaster body upon her divine throne, several of her heads slightly twisting as they watched Huo Ling's figure.
Tiamat said, "Child, you are far more powerful than I imagined!"
"Since you are already so powerful, why were you only willing to enter my divine kingdom with the Floating City in tow?"
Huo Ling slowly came to a stop and looked up. "Your Majesty, you know that I have lacked a sense of security since I was young!"
"And the Floating City can give me that sense of security!"
"What an interesting child!" Tiamat laughed.
She then asked, "So, new Lord of Avernus, what brings you to me this time?"
Huo Ling looked at Tiamat and said, "I recall that you previously said you would help me deal with Bael, yet I did not seem to see any sign of you in this battle?"
Tiamat's red dragon head lifted higher. She said, "Had I not already given you help? Otherwise, how would you have known Bael's intelligence? Besides, the contract never stipulated that I had to personally act."
"Enough, child. You have already killed Bael, so let us not discuss this."
"You were truly formidable in this battle. Not only did you kill Bael, you also killed Yeenoghu!"
"Surely you have not come to deal with your mother goddess now?"
Huo Ling shook his head. "Your decision will affect how much effort I put forth when helping you deal with Bahamut."
Tiamat smiled.
