For most subterranean races, dark elves were powerful.

Once the lords of these underground cities discovered that the dark elves, backed by the depths beneath the earth, were reaping enormous profits,

that would be when the dark elves began to suffer.

Whether in the Spirit Realm, on Blue Star, or even across the myriad heavens and worlds, wars sparked by resources and wealth were too numerous to count.

Once the underground city lords coveting the dark elves' gains began making plans, it would depend on whether the dark elves could withstand the blades coming openly and from the shadows.

Whether they could hold them off remained unknown.

And for Huo Ling, that was precisely what he hoped for.

What the God of Courage had done for a divine spark had greatly exceeded Huo Ling's expectations.
