As a grown man, being accused of corrupting public morals was a first for Morty. The feeling was quite strange, as if he were some bold-thinking pioneer committing crimes against the wind during an era of moral correction.
What Morty found strange was that even in his own world, during America's most conservative periods,
women could still wear long skirts with a pair of nylon stockings.
Yet this world was absurdly conservative.
Men covering up their bodies too much could actually be deemed morally corrupt?
Showing off hairy legs, on the other hand, was considered normal.
So when faced with the valiant-looking officer's question, Morty beat his grandpa to the punch and asked in return.
"Why do you think men shouldn't wear trousers?"
The officer immediately frowned, but seeing that Morty was only a child, she found it hard to lose her temper. She could only take the three of them to a nearby police station first.
